If I could score this place less than one star I would. I bought my bike back in late March from them and the first week I had it they had to come and tow it back to the shop. They said the plugs were fouled so they changed them. I brought the bike home and a couple of weeks later the same thing, bike wouldn't start .Kept going back and forth with the salesman who never returned phone calls. He was looking to trade me to another bike but couldnt find one and never called to tell me either. John who I believe is the manager will tell you he'll call you back then he doesn't (twice hes done that now)so I got so pissed off and I called up to Velocity Powersports and spoke to the owner Jerry, who turned me over to Paul (who is a great salesman and a great guy) Paul had my bike towed to his shop and they rebuilt the carbs and then a bunch of other work coming to $650. They paid for it which was great and what they should have done, but now the bike is still having the same problem and I don't even have 500 miles on it since I bought it. I called and spoke to John today and he said that the owner,Jerry, said I could trade it back in,but not for what I paid for it. That they would not take the bike back even though it's been in the shop and Towed to them 3 or 4 times since I purchased it. I've been more than gracious and patient with these people and they have been the most unprofessional bunch I have ever seen. I bought my last bike from Paul at velocity and i would highly recommend him for your purchases. Did i mention im a 2 time purchaser from them? First one from Velocity, second from Charleston Powersports(never again). They are affiliated so you decide where to go. There are other options you know...Absolutely no integrity at Powersports in my opinion. They will give you the runaround like they did me. Think, to lose a customer over a $3500.00 bike is just bad business and KARMA will take its course.

During the sale process everyone was friendly. We purchased Sena bluetooth for our helmets. One boom mike didn't work. Took it back. They agreed it didn't work but did nothing to fix it. When we insured our bike, we discovered that our insurance carrier put Gap insurance on the bike. We have been trying to get Charleston Power Sports to cancel the Gap insurance purchased at the time sale since June 1st. It is now September 7th. Lastly, when it was time for our 500 mile service they could not get to it for weeks. We scheduled the appointment, then proceeded to try and find someone else to do the service, We found another dealer that would do it. We called and cancelled the appointment. They called and then said they could get us in for the service. Too late. They screwed up getting our license plate. Another issue we had to resolve because they couldn't or wouldn't. We will NEVER buy anything else from this place!!!!

BLUF: I wouldn't trust them to fix a childs pedal tricycle.
I was involved in a motorcycle accident in April and took the bike to them for an estimate and decided to have them do the repairs. About a month and a half later- not an issue with the time as I couldn't ride - I show up to pick up the bike - they put the wrong damn color front end on the bike. I point that out and they say oops - but they will get the correct part ordered to make it right. I get home that night and give the bike a thorough going over and cant believe what I see - the turn signals were on upside down - custom parts, so it could happen....but then I realize they replaced the wrong damn side plastics...REALLY??!! After a bit on the phone they order the new parts to make things right - again. Get the bike home AGAIN, everything looks good. I start taking it apart to service the fluids and go over it and my god, king kong has tightened the fairing bolts, STRIPPING one of the bolts. NEVER AGAIN

I enjoyed dealing with charleston powersports great prices great staff I refer all my friends to them I worked with Ashley and hope when I,return,to buy from charleston powersports I deal with with Ashley again he was great guy deal with I told him what I was looking, for and,he took time and, listens to me,sold me,exactly what I needed didn't try to sell me,what I didn't need like most powersports dealer would he seemed to,care more about what would make,me,happy then, what would be more, profitable for him which just ment he earned my future business so if ya looking,to buy a boat or jet ski atv utv or motorcycle I say go talk to Ashley. Or one,of,the. Other sale member I enjoyed myself and, love my New atv

The most important aspect of a company to me is customer service, and Charleston Powersports has it. Everyone was very friendly, not pushy, and more than willing to answer any questions that I had. When I first called their I thought that I was going to rushed over the phone, but I was pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite. The only snag I had was that I was told I would receive a notification via email when my parts came in which I did not. I did give my email address and number to the person on the phone but it somehow did not get recorded. I called a couple times to check and see if my parts were in, and each time I was answered with a friendly voice. When I did go to pick up my parts, which were received in a very timely fashion, I was asked again for my information which I gave. I was also granted an apology for the miscommunication. I received an email from Charleston Powersports after my purchase thanking me for my business. As a manager of a large operation myself, my professional opinion would suggest that Charleston Powersports is a very well managed facility. I will definitely be returning with all of my future business, and I will most definitely refer them to any friend of mine. Well done guys!!

This group is "SUPER".... My wife and I decided to sell the Yamaha motorcycle '07 V-Star and buy a jet ski for the kids. The 1st time there we were on a fact finding mission, (no sales pressure at this store). The salesman listened to what we wanted and then showed several that were in our price range. The 2nd time I had my trade with me and they looked over my motorcycle and told me that they were sure we could make a deal. We went back a week later and made the deal.

It all went so smooth. We love our new Seadoo GTX. The service there is "Right On".

Thanks Guys!

Really good sales staff, parts folks know their business and service is fast and good. Come on guys, don't abuse people that are there for you and sponsoring all these events for you and working hard every day to make it good for you. Dude, with the $1000 wrecked bike, what is your problem man? Hey guys, you did a good job for me. R Cromley, Pawley's Is. SC
