The bad review on here must be from a competitor. I can't believe any of it is true. Everyone at N & R is nice, helpful, professional and cour…
Horrifying. After 5 weeks of delays the vehicle was presented with the wrong ordered and installed parts. The frame was never inspected and the vehicle was unsafe to drive as we learned driving out of there. Parts were ordered that weren't broken or even on the vehicle. The wrong model fender and bumper valance was installed. Photos are after the repair all wrong parts used.
Well i'd have to say I was pretty shocked when I saw all the 5 stars with the way you treated one of your customers, especially a Military customer. Customer brought a honda accord into Pro Tek to fix a bent rear frame issue. Did a great job! So customer called them again when the cable in the drivers door broke so the door wouldnt open. I'll try not to drag this out but customer asked if they could fix the problem...Yes! So the car was brought to them. #1 The tech working on the car apparently couldnt get a cover off behind the door panel so for whatever reason he beat it with a screwdriver/broke it of course, then asked customer to pay 150.00 for the new part "they" broke. #2 Tech asked if the car could be brought in to be worked on after hours...boss caught wind and accused customer of trying to "go thru the back door" so to speak-I assume for a discounted price & tech using company tools/parts?? #3 They removed window molding and the Lock rod while they were banging on the part they broke and didnt give them back. #4 While attempting to "fix" the car, they gouged the brand new tinted windows on the drivers door. When confronted with all of this and asked to pay for the gouged window tint-they were rude, accusatory and told customer to never come back! Oh but dont you worry Pro Tek, we will never be back and we will spread the word of our experience with you. You made a bigger mess out of the original problem which cost more money for someone else to fix- plus 40.00 window tint. Worse part is? We had family from Ohio in town that weekend. Aunt of the customer has been an associate of the Honda plant for 30 plus years and use to put the doors together from start to finish...but she was visiting and didnt want to take away from her vacation. You have alot of 5 star reviews, they are either friends and family or you normally take care of your customers...you sure dropped the ball on this one.
Would have to completely argue with the one review posted thus far. I'd crunched a front bumper a couple of weeks ago which necessitated it being replaced. The "valance" under the bumper was also bent and they said I would likely have to secure that part from Ford.. but they would try to heat it and put it back into place if possible (It's a polymer.. plastic,). The new bumper was secured from a parts shop two doors away, Within 24 hours we had the new bumper in place and the valance was salvaged, saving us about $100 in replacement costs. We found them to be very professional, very reasonable, and incredibly responsive. Would recommend them to anyone in the Charleston Trident area. The location is certainly central to the entire area. We live in Summerville... 15 minute drive to their location. Hope we do not need them again.. but think keeping insurance claims out of the picture.. we'd opt to have them do repairs in the future. and again absorb cost ourselves... thus keeping premiums down. thanks guys... so glad you were recommended to us by fellow here in Summerville.
Exceptional service & communiation. Very pleased with the body work and paint they did after my vehicle was rear-ended. Highly recommend!
If you want a no experience sixteen year old boy painting your vehicle you will be better off going to the nearest daycare the mess my car up so bad I have a civil case now please to the public never go to this place the price is too good to be true
Do not go here unless you are willing to wait! I understand how vehicles take some time to repair, but this car took over 40 days. Not to mention being told 7 different lies that it would be done. They get the car 3/20, assess the damage and ordered parts, and tell me it will be done on Weds 3/27. I call 3/26 and they say they had to wait on a right frame rail to ship so it would be finished on 3/29...no big deal. I call 3/29 and they said it would be done 4/1 due to the parts coming in late. I am currently without a car so they agree to provide a rental car and say it will be done at the end of the week (4/5). I have the rental for another week not even bothering to know what is going on with my car. They say it is currently getting painted and will be finished 4/17. I call 4/17 and they say it will be ready in the morning, 4/18. I never receive a call on 4/18, I call 4/19 and they say it is still getting painted!! I wait another weekend, and call Monday 4/22. They say they are waiting for a RADIATOR to be shipped to them, and it will be there that day and the car would be compete 4/22. I call 4/23 and they say it is not done!! I call 4/25 and they say they are waiting for the headlights! I finally lose my patience and ask them why they have lied to me 7 times, and they say it will be done today, and finally it is done. The actual repair looks legitimate, it was the false completion dates and waiting time that was absolutely frustrating. It seemed like they ordered parts, fixed them, and ordered more parts, fixed those, and kept going instead of ordering all the parts at once and replacing the damaged parts. I felt like it was a joke and it would never be finished. I normally don't write reviews, but this really got to me. These last two months were very stressful, especially since it was illegal for my wife to drive the rental car being under 21.
These People are GREAT!!!!!! Mr. D. and his team did a great job on my vehicle. I caouldn"t believe it. I picked up a brand new car. I have a 2000 Honda accord and the paint was peeling, I had dents in my car and scratches all over it. I could hardly recognize it. The manager was nice and very helpful when it came to helping me pick a paint service for my car. Very professional!! And it didn"t cost as much as i thought it would. If you need your vehicle painted this would definitly be the place!
Incompitant and stupid. Bad news. He did NOT fix my car after a month of excuses and trys. It was a damaged fender a small job with no parts. He did not know what he was doing, when I finally demanded my car back to go somewhere else (still not repaired) he told me "its not leaving till I get paid". This job was paid by the insurance so I endorced the entire check to him, he then wanted more than they alotted. STAY CLEAR OF THIS GUY
Stay Away for this place bad news. Inexperianced and incopitant. They do not know what they are doing, they lied to me a number of times.
Shotty work and takes advantage of those who don't know what to look for in terms of auto repair. My father had relayed to me to get my floor pans on my 1976 restoration vehicle replaced due to rust. I obliged so he could help me work on them upon his return to the area. The gentleman who owned the establish stated he would weld in the replacement floor pans, battery/heater station, and front valence, and paint over the work areas to make them presentable.Afterwards, the floor pans began to peel away from the rear and the front. I could see the paste/glue he used to temporarily hold the floor pans up. Both of the floor pans and the battery/heater station is held in my extremely long shank nails with glue and concealing tape around the surface. After the replacement parts were installed, he spray painted an ugly purple color over everything, including parts I had just replaced. There was no prepping for the paint job contrary to what he had told me. I had to get the engine bay completely sand blasted to remove gunk that had been painted over vice cleaning it, and the new business used a better black paint which looked more professional. At a minimum, once I get my car running, I will have to drive it down to someone else and get spot welds to ensure the floor pans will stay in place. I am worried I will fall out of car while I am driving. Maybe I will just tow instead.
