HelloI am wanting to report that the owner, Jaime, of Jaime's Tire and Muffler Shop, San Antonio, Tex is a crook!I took my car back in November 2017 to his shop for them to install ONLY a fuel pump. He called me to inform me that my pump was fine. So I asked if it was safe for me to take the part back to the store and he said yes. He then told me that my gas tank would need to be replaced and I said ok. Then shortly after I took back the fuel pump which only cost me $203 TOTAL, he informs me that I was going to need a tank and the pump. HE purchased a pump for me that cost me $15 extra and charged me with the parts a total of $218.00. My tank, WHICH DID NOT HAVE ANY GLUE NOR CRACKS IN IT WHEN I PURCHASED IT, BUT HIS STAFF CRACKED A HOLE IN IT AND THEN THEY TRIED TO GLUE IT....I took him my car on a Thursday, ALTHOUGH HE LIED AND TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE IT WITH HIM ONLY UNTIL THAT FRIDAY, which turned out to be a lie because they had my car til that SUNDAY instead....THEY NEEDED THE EXTRA TIME FOR THE GLUE TO DRY....Because of the damage they did to my car, I had to pay an extra $200 for another tank and labor with someone else. When I tried to contact Jaime to tell him about what his staff did, he refuse to accept responsibility for what they did to my car. JAIME'S TIRE AND MUFFLER SHOP ARE CROOKS THAT CANT BE TRUSTED!

I just read the other comment about this shop, and I think that person may have been from a competing repair shop. Belden's ran a diagnostic for me and did it for free. Waived the $95 fee because I was a new customer. I know very little about cars, and they surely didn't have to waive the fee that I was ready to pay. I received an itemized list of parts and repairs, looked up the cost of each (online) and it was pretty much either the lower end or exactly the average price. $168.54 for labor and $230 for parts on a wheel bearing remove and replace:"Labor costs are estimated between $140 and $178 while parts are priced between $211 and $411"Their service was so professional, courteous, and quick! I should have rated this place right after my business with them. At least I can honestly say that I have been satisfied with the service after nearly 4 months from date the maintenance took place. They even provide free rides home from their shop! This will be the only repair shop that I will trust with my car from now on.

King Tire Shop. Saturday 7/22/2017, 210-532-1383, The working owner/manager name was Arturo. Please avoid this place. They will swindle you, disrespect you and charge too much only because they can. I was visiting from Houston, stranded in San Antonio with my wife. Our car was not running anymore and had to tow it in. Arturo said it was the fuel pump. I asked him to also check for a clogged catalytic converter. He said he would, and he had me waiting from 11: 00 am to 4:20 pm in the hot garage office. That is more than 5 hours, while the job is only 30 minutes and the fuel pump was there (brought by O'Reilly) immediately. Most painful was the disrespect. Whenever another customer showed up for new tires or mufflers, he dropped my work and spend time on that other customer for 20 or 30 minutes. Imagine you are just looking at it and cannot do anything but complain. He also went out of the store to pick up another car (and for lunch). there were about 20 customers that day I was constantly waiting for each of them. He could do this because I was stuck, my car was not running. He even mentioned, if you do not like it, go somewhere else. (but how?) The price he demanded was $300 but my own mechanic in Houston told me the job was $150 in labor. He charged $90 for parts from O'Reilly but when I called O'Reilly the fuel pump cost $43.95 for me without garage discount. The job itself took 30 minutes. It was very humiliating to see that he forced me to overpay and that he treated me as a second rank customer so he could help all other customers faster. These guys are the number one place to avoid. There are many good car mechanics in that area and I happen to choose the wrong one. It was a bad day and it really affected us, so please do not take a chance with him. He will not care about you and will take an advantage if he can. Please be warned, there are sometimes bad people out there and Arturo is definitely not a good one.

Been there twice.First a brake job, then a year later clutch/ water pump replacement. Very easy . I brought my own parts. When there were other problems discovered. I went over and Noe explained. A very fair price. Nice working with good people.

I went in a few months ago to get an oil change. Long story short, my check gauges lights went on a few days ago, turns out that I had no oil in my car. I was told that whoever changed my oil last didn't put any oil in it. Wow!

The owner and his wife are great people - not sure why previous reviews have been negative. They are very straight forward, honest and reasonable with the prices - they want to stay competitive with their pricing so they utilize a software for quotes. On top of all that, the service employees do great work (owner actually works on cars himself as well)! I had my original exhaust manifolds replaced with some JBA Headers and catalytic converters. After that job, I became a lifelong customer of theirs - highly recommended!

Don't go over there! Unprofessional, rude and they disclaim any warranty even on the new tires!!! I had a warranty claim number from the manufacture, they refused it. Also you will be waiting more than 3 hours in waiting area for nothing!The store manager is the worst manager I have met ever!

Not a lot of invetory to select from . Had a bad experience there I don't recommended this place it's worst than Rent A Tire.

This team of gentlemen worked like a well oiled machine! They answered my many questions, were very helpful in explainingthe differences in at a still time for me. I will recommend them again and again!Thank you Efrin and also thanks to the rest of the crew!TizMePd
