Today was the first time I've dealt with the on a personal basis. They have delivered to my parents house a few times without incident. Today was a far different matter. They arrived at my house to deliver oil right as I arrived home. My driveway is a slight decline approximately 50 yards long. My driveway was dry on the bottom 2/3 but had some slush/slippery section up top which made it harder for the truck to maneuver which is to be expected. I came out and offered to move my two cars for easier accessibility. I moved the first car into the garage and I pulled the second well out of the way. The entire time he was attempting a better positioning. When I exited the second car I heard the driver yell "F$@k" and peel out of the driveway and down the road. Keep in mind I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with kids about. My father who set up the delivery then received a phone call from Sharon stating they could not deliver due to the driveway. I immediately called Sharon to attempt to voice my concern and possible remedies she screamed at me and proceeded to hang up on me 3 times. I even offered to talk to the driver to at least find out how I can help facilitate the delivery and that went unheard with a phone being slammed down again by Sharon. Saying I have no clue what would happen if they have a spill or what it's like to drive an oil truck with thousand gallons of oil. But I am hazmat operations certified and what I do drive are fire trucks that carry thousand gallons of water. My concern is how I was treated and how the situation was handled not that they felt a delivery couldn't be made. I was out there trying to remedy the situation first hand and then on the phone. It was appalling how I was berated and disrespected as well as the complete lack of professionalism on their part. Needless to say they lost two households as customers. Ones that are loyal when treated appropriately. That being said although I found someone cheaper I would've been willing to pay more for better service regardless.

Always helpful and always there. We have been buying from A Buy for years. They have ALWAYS had the lowest prices, and deliver when promised. It is simple you call them up, and pay when they deliver the oil. We have had OTHER area oil companies that ask you to sign your life away, commit to contracts for service and charge more per gallon anyway and on top of it have an attitude! The people at A Buy are friendly (even the oil delivery guy!) and courteous. One time when we ran out of oil the A Buy delivery guy went down to the basement and restarted the burner and bled the lines for free and would not even take a tip! That happened before with a different company and THAT guy charged us $75! So go with A Buy if you want to get friendly service at the best price. I swear I really am a customer and why wouldn't I be!
