i Never had any issue with this car service and I have used this service since I was 15 and now I am 30. The drivers are very nice and yes sometimes there's traffic and you cant help that, but if they are more then ten minutes late they will give you a discount on your ride if you politely complain about the wait time. it sounds like Penelope had an issue and if she would have addressed it in a polite way to get her point across I guarantee that her experience with royal would have gone better. So for those of you who haven't tried Royal try it and see for yourself how nice they are and see if they come at the specific time they told you, if not politely tell the driver that you have waited more then you were told to wait and you don't feel like you should be charged the same amount that was discussed over the phone. Its not going to be a free ride but they will lower the price by a few dollars . But every penny counts. Besides all that other stuff there cheaper then any other taxi company
Waited way passed giving time charged us 7.50 for ride what was great called them back for pick up and they charged us 10.50.not sure why way back was more money, dispatcher didn't want to explain.he was in a bad mood.never gone call them again
We booked them for an early morning taxi to the airport. They gave a good quote on the phone. But rather than take the reservation the dispatcher told us to call back in a few days - which we did.We had several complaints1. They showed up a day early and woke us at 3:45AM. 2. They showed up the next day and gave us a price which was 50% above the phone quote. If we had any disposition to give them the benefit of the doubt on this, it was erased when we called the dispatcher and got the sense they did not have ANY set price for the ride (or the return trip). We are pretty sure the dispatcher we spoke to that morning was the same one who gave us the quote. They offered a number of "lies." For example they tried to explain the rate disparity based on our car type but clearly they had sent us the correct car type.3. Although their business card shows they take all 4 major credit cards, they would only accept cashAll in all the dispatch end central office functions seemed extremely unprofessional and seemingly dishonestOn the positive side, they did actually show up (twice) the driver was courteous and the vehicle was safe
They always tell you 5 minutes but they never arrive!dont use this"service" is one of the worst!
