Uber is just terrible with customer service. Uber doesn't allow Live Chat, Doesn't provide a Phone Number for calling customer service. Doesn't accept emails. UBER SIMPLY DOESN'T WANT TO HEAR FROM ITS CUSTOMERS -- JUST WANTS TO KEEP BILLING THEM BOGUS CHARGES. They email ride receipts to you but they don't accept email correspondence back. They want you to do all communication through the app but the app isn't downloading the receipts for the Family Rides that I am paying for. In order to contest a charge, you have to click on the ride in the app -- but the app isn't downloading the ride with the contested charge -- So there is NO WAY for me to contest the Charge!! Yet, I know I'm being charged because it shows up on my credit card bill and the receipt shows up in my email. My reply emails to Uber get kicked-back. I try calling the phone numbers for UBER that I find through Google and their answering machine simply tells me that I have to communicate through the Web or the app. WHAT A RACKET! I'm going to look into LYFT and pray that they are better at customer service.

I am Uber driver and I am VERY disgusted the company and can't wait to leave it. Not just the company ripping off drivers by charging them 30% for each ride - they do not provide absolutely anything back, period! Drivers have to pay for gas, buy a car, insurance, car maintenance and many more. Customer service is so useless and unprofessional that I cannot even describe it but any Uber drivers can proof it. Uber don't have even a phone numbers for drivers or riders to call at least in case of emergency. Uber owner gives ZERO benefits of any kind to drivers so the company that is $64 billion dollars in value don't want to spend pennies while making billions?!!!Shame, shame, shame on GREEDY owner! unfortunately I have special reason to work for this terrible company for couple of months more but I cannot wait to get out - they treat drivers as SLAVES - period! I regret the day I started working for this company

Customer service stinks, there is none, and LA Drivers are thieves and incompetent, which is probably the same nation wide. We get charged a different price to go to the same place every day at the same time or there about, because the driver "ACCIDENTLY MISSED THE TURN OR EXIT". BS. That is thieving.
Not user friendly!!! And it says your first ride for free for your first Uber ride" not so!!!! And or promotion codes doesn't even apply even when you put them in!!!! And when you tried calling their number in San Francisco it's always busy!!! also I noticed the drivers take you the long way don't get that? I think I'm going to try Lyft next!!
There is no way to contact them to dispute charges - they charge cancel fees when their drivers delay and we have to cancel to get a new driver. There is no way to gain a credit for this scenario - it happens a lot. I just contacted LYFT and they get back to you quickly - UBER has taken away all ability to communicate with them by email, chat or by phone. I am writing them today - I was a VIP rider.
