Do not let Joel Ulmer this scumbag, felon, drug addict to your house. He will steal your money and will probably not give it back or not show up to do the job. If he does show up he will make more damage. File a police report immediately, and a claim to attorney general, bbb, and a claim against the warranty company who sent him to your house. He also pretends to own different companies: midwest plumbing, chicagoland plumbing are all scams just like him and registered under addresses of apparent abandoned houses.

MY NAME IS JOEL ULMER AND I AM A FRAUD. OH, AND I ALSO AM A CONVICTED FELON! I WILL MAKE UP LIES ABOUT THE WORK YOU NEED DONE, WILL ASK FOR AN UPFRONT DEPOSIT, AND AFTER YOU PAY ME YOU'LL NEVER HEAR FROM ME AGAIN! ON THE OFF-CHANCE I DO DECIDE TO WORK ON YOUR HOUSE, I WILL INTENTIONALLY INFLICT WORSE DAMAGE THAN WHAT WAS ORIGINALLY THERE, JUST SO I CAN CHARGE YOU MORE MONEY. MY SON IS DANIEL... HE'S A P.O.S. JUST LIKE ME! I GET REFERRED TO PEOPLE'S HOMES BY WARRANTY COMPANIES, SO I ALREADY HAVE PEOPLE'S TRUST BEFORE RIPPING THEM OFF. SO IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO "FLUSH" MONEY AWAY, WANT TO BE SCAMMED, AND WANT A CONVICTED FELON IN YOUR HOME, GIVE ME A CALL! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE A SINGLE MOTHER OF 3, A WIDOW, CRIPPLED, OR ARE DYING OF CANCER, I PROMISE I WILL ROB YOU OF YOUR MONEY! I also frequently change the name of my business to throw people off my trail. I've gone by: Northwest Plumbing and Sewer Inc, Northwest plumbing, Chicagoland plumbing, and Midwest plumbing.

First and foremost, the review by "Ronny" is pretty biased considering the fact that he works for Chicagoland Plumbing and Sewer Inc...... Just thought whoever reading this should know....



If I could give Chicagoland Plumbing and Sewer Inc less then one star I would definitely do it. I wanted to write this review to warn off anyone considering hiring them as a contractor.



At first when you go to their website ( chicagolandplumberil.net), you think to yourself that this company seems qualified, reasonably priced, and reliable, however, after my experience with this company I would not recommend hiring them to anyone.



Firstly, the head plumber for this company, Joel Ulmer (phone number (312) 566-6113, which you can find on their website) is a crook and a cheat. He will take a large deposit from you, tell you he is coming to work on your property ASAP and he won't show up for days. I did not have any water in my house and I had to consistently plead and beg for Joel Ulmer to come repair my pipes. He took my deposit and then he would tell me my home is not a priority for him. It took him over a week to do something that would have taken any other plumber a few hours to finish. Further I found out that what I paid for the his service was twice as high as I would have paid any other plumber.



I also called Harwood Heights/Norridge/Skokie town offices to see if they recommended him and these villages of Chicago warned me against using this Company because this company has so many complaints against them. Please consider this review before hiring Joel Ullmer and Chicagoland Plumbing & Sewer Inc, I promise you that you will get terrible service, inflated prices, and unreliable plumbers that don't show up for the job. If you do not trust this review call the village of Harwood Heights. They will tell you all the complaints this company has accrued during its lifetime.
