Irving Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, math, reading, science, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, the school offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. Irving Middle School also conducts classes in American Sign Language, as well as a range of world languages, such as Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Russian and Spanish. The school offers dance, music, theatre and visual arts classes. Located in Norman, Okla., Irving Middle School is a part of Norman Public Schools, which serves students in prekindergarten through grade 12 in its elementary, middle and high schools.
