Established in 1974, CASP, also known as the Community After School Program, is a private, nonprofit agency that offers before- and after-school programs. The agency serves more than 700 elementary children in Norman Public Schools and Robin Hill Public School. It works in partnership with the United Way Norman. CASP provides a variety of enrichment opportunities, including sports, games, and arts and crafts. The agency is licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. It operates over 15 licensed child care programs. The agency offers programs in reading, math and science. In addition, it provides a summer program that features theater and water activities. The agency publishes a newsletter for parents. CASP additionally offers a tuition scholarship program.
