This place should be closed down. Rediculous high prices. I had a beer bottle opener I got in Mexico and a gift card that only had a womping 3$ left on it. Both we're STOLEN. I saw the guy with these lame tattoos on his arm that serviced my car. I'll remember his face. If I see him around Norman I will knock him out on sight then I'll spit on his face!

Big O Tires Norman. My husband and son went in there to get 2 tires for a Nissan. They said that they would have to order them. They said they would be in, in about 3 days. It is now 4 weeks and we still haven't heard from them. My son called Hibdons Tires and they had them the next day. That is not the way to run a business!

My 84 year old grandmother in law went in for an oil change special and came out with a written estimate for $1800 for new struts on a 97 Toyota Camry and was told they were in dire condition and must be replaced. When she said she could not afford it they pressed her to sign up for an in house credit card. Went to Midas and they said the whole service would be less than $600 with labor, tax and a lifetime warranty but also said the struts were in great condition and did not need replaced at all !!!! When I called Big-O and asked the cost for the same service they qoted me less than $800. BIG SCAM. Go somewhere else.

These guys are old fashioned r...

These guys are old fashioned rip-off artists!!! Twice I've taken my car there, and been treated like a gold brick, that needed be turned over for the "honor" of their service. The first time was for an a/c service. To which I was told that my a/c unit had a "... micro leak somewhere in the line" and that it would cost me almost $1000 in parts and labor (mostly labor) to have it repaired. My A/C worked fine after their service, so I thought not much about it. I took my vehicle back to them yesterday for a brake job. I was informed that my front disc rotors needed to be changed, and that the parts themselves would be $140.00 (for a 35.00 part at AutoZone). The total bill was going to be more then $500.00. This prompted me to take my vehicle to another mechanic. I was informed, after a lengthy inspection of my car that my A/C in fact did NOT have a leak in it of any sort, "micro" or not, and that my rotors were "pretty" and they did not need to be changed!

Now here's the real kicker! As I'm about to be checked out, paying my tab for the oil change I had them perform, the manager (yes, manager) is checking out another customer. "Oh, and here's <this> and <this> (folding all his paperwork together, and being very cordial, and helpful) and here, let me give you my business card incase you need anything in the future" All of this is bound up, neatly into an advert slip to keep all the papers together in a safe place, then bound with the gentlemans' card. What I get is "I'll get you out of here now..." "Sign here and here, thank you come again"

You especially need to stay away if you are in a commercial vehicle. They see $$$s in their eyes as you pull up!

Norman, Oklahoma Big O Tire st...

Norman, Oklahoma Big O Tire store off of Alameda is the worst tire store ever. They ruined a $249.00 tire that I took in with a leak. They plugged the tire for "no charge" and several months later it had another leak. I took it to Discount Tires in Moore. The manager there told me the tire was ruined. He said that Big O tires ruined it. The inside was patched and had a coating of black tar like stuff all over it. I took it to Big O to get it replaced. The Asian manager was very rude. He told me he did not have a record of the service. The manager back then never put it in the system. The Asian manager told me that I would need to hold the old manager responsible that did not work there anymore. Which is ridiculous! I would never use that place again. He was extremely rude and unhelpful. I went back to Discount Tires and they gave me a discount on the tire through Bridgestone. They had the best customer service. I would recommend Discount Tires to anyone. I would NEVER recommend Big O Tires in Norman Oklahoma off of Alameda.

I took my car in for brake service, they gave me a ride home, and picked me up when ready. They fixed my brake troubles, and did a lot of other needed work. Will return for other work as well as oil changes.
