IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! I have felt sooooo good ever since I got home!! Keeley really knows her business!! I WILL be re-scheduling for another session soon!!! Thank you, Keeley!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing massage with Rachel . I highly recommend her for your next massage.
I had my first appointment with Rachel yesterday! I felt very relaxed during and after my visit and I woke up this morning feeling better than I have felt in a while. Went in with a shoulder injury that has been an issue for months, today I have better range of motion. She really worked with that muscle to release a lot of tension. I will go back again and plan to soon! Thank you Rachel!
Rachel is the best! She's new to our area, but certainly not new to massage. Her office is cozy and inviting, and I like that it's located within Manchester Chiropractic, (private parking in the back and spacious reception area), Her particular office is located at the end of a quiet hallway, which is especially nice. I will definitely go back.
I have had massages at various places in Norman, OK when I lived there from 1994-2010. Selina at Energy Massage is hands down the best massage place I have been to. When I moved to Edmond in 2010, I searched high and low, all over Edmond and OKC, for a comparable massage therapist. Still haven't quite found one. I make the near-hour drive when I can to get in with Delinda. Her studio is the warmest, most relaxing and welcoming and her technique is unparalleled!!
Strange place. Always messing with the mailbox lid (some secret code?) and has doors locked while your inside. Creepy. Even when you arrive the doors are always locked during business hours. Open sign turns on and off at various times of the day. Has heavily covered black windows. Also has a peep hole so Mac can see who it is before he opens door. Advertises that they will work with you on medication. Drugs??? What is REALLY happening here??
If there was an option for "awful-horrible" I would rate it that. I went in for my massage today (the one I had to call Wimgo to have them call him to make him call me back after I left three messages). I should have taken that as a hint and decided to just have them refund my money. So here is my experience. I go in for my massage, it is at least 80 degrees with no ventilation and a dirty lobby. I am greeted by a guy in a black wife beater and athletic pants. Immedietly creeped out by the fact there are num-chucks (sp???) behind the counter hanging on the wall. Why do you need those I thought. Well, as I am about to turn around and walk out a lady comes out of the back, and said she fell asleep. I am assuming at this point that she just got done with a massage. This makes me feel better.... another women in this place.... she is put together, maybe this is not all bad. I even text my b/f and told him I had the creeps about the place. I go back to the "ocean room" with my therapist (who is also the owner) Mac. - the name makes me want to gag! He gives me intructions to lay down - all the normal massage stuff. I do this and he comes back. (this is where it gets really bad- excuse my bluntness, but I feel this needs to be said)- During the massage Mac decides that he should rub his junk on my hands. At first I thought, OK, maybe that is just his stomach and he is leaning over me. I am still being nieve at this point I guess. Surely this cant be happening. Well, as I am laying down on my stomach this means my hands are at my sides, palms up. Well, the kept placing his privates on my hand.. I would try to adjust to move my hand and he would find another way to get it back there. At this point I am still thinking... is this really happening? He made no attempt to use the sheets and so I am basically just laying there, exposed as he is "massaging" me- if you want to even call it that. It was basically- like other reviews noted... a back rub from a high school boyfriend. Awful... the worst I have ever had. Well, then he has me turn over to my stomach. This is when I knew it was no mistake what he was doing.... now I am hands by my sides, palms up and he just places it in my hand!! I of course, move my hand again... I just wanted it to be over. As I went to leave, I notice the girl from earlier is lounging in the lobby watching TV. I could not have run faster to get out of there. I URGE you, do not go there! I am going to do everything I can to get the word out about this place!
Don't bother with this place. I bought a livingsocial voucher for one massage, and have never been able to get in contact with them to make an appointment. Over a dozen calls and voicemails, and several emails as well. In addition, I spoke to livingsocial and they said they could not issue me a refund (outside of refund period) and that they had no way of contacting Serenity themselves. After reading these reviews it looks like I'll be sticking to Groupon from now on! Could not belive the level of unprofessionalism displayed by both organizations. Very dissappointed.
