Located in Normal, Ill., Hammitt High School works for the preparation of students for adult living. The school offers vocational, individual and group therapies. It is operated by Hammitt School, which provides various nonpublic elementary and high school programs for children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional, learning and developmental disabilities. It conducts classes in speech and language therapy and physical education, as well as provides nursing and psychological care services. Hammitt School also offers social work and home intervention services for families to enhance parenting skills. It provides advocacy, support and child behavior management services for individuals between the ages of 3 and 24.
