I am Native New Mexican And this place hits the Spot!! Tastes just like our Food back home that I know and love. The service is Top notch Just like the food I Highly recommend The Enchiladas!! Thank you guys for bringing my Childhood food to Texas!!
Great tortillas-your choice of corn(maiz) or arena(flour). Both are thick and delicious like the singer on Sunday mornings. The food is tasty, reasonably priced, service is good. The owners are usually on hand serving, and keeping and eye on things. I only wish they were open for dinner on F…
If you want the real thing, then you have just discovered it. Guajillo's is food made exactly the way the gorgeous country of Mexico would have liked it. You will never go back to Tex-Mex ever again. This will become your Home restaurant forever. It is the best way to drive your taste buds ""Loc…
We moved to San Antonio from Mexico City less than 2 years ago, where we lived for 32 years, most of our lives, and we had missed the real authentic Mexican feeling of good food, drinks and music. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty nice Mexican restaurants in SA, but this was different, this w…
95. El Milagrito
I love to eat here for breakfast. The chilaquiles plate is my favorite but everything I've eaten at El Milagrito for breakfast or lunch has a touch of love in every bite! They great you with a smile and the food comes out quick and delicious. I highly recommend checking them out.
100. Taco Cabana
When this place first opened here in the early 80's, it had the potential to take over the fast mexican food market in this town. Great portions at a fair price (now, Chachos seems to be quickly catching up). Prices have gone up (as they should with time), however the service has gone downhil…

106. Taco Cabana
New Product Line is a Big Hit! Using Taco Cabana's (TC's) own website for “feedback”, I previously scorched TC for the extreme lack of customer service at this location. Management has since corrected the issues with new personnel who are highly courteous and fast. More importantly, since my …
107. Taqueria Rivera
Monster Taco is the best ever!!! It's a huge flour tortilla wrapped like a burrito with beans cheese egg potatoes and bacon. The prices are low and reasonable. They have specials before 11am. My son loves the bean and cheese tacos only from this place. They taste home made with a small hint of b…
The best choice for Tex-Mex in town. Every time I want a healthy, delicious, and affordable meal, I choose this place. The Freedom Salad is my go to choice. The staff is always friendly and the environment is always pleasant.
The previous 1- star review isn't for our restaurant - it is for a completely unrelated restaurant on the Riverwalk - we're a 5-10 minutes north of there in Broadway. We've tried to have it removed but no one at City Search responds... Richard Peacock, President
The food is very fresh and delicious and they give large portions! They have the best Caldo/ chicken, squash soup/in town. We eat there or take out at least once a week. Great place!!
They brought me a chalupa with no refried beans and no cheese. Only dried chicken, some iceberg lettuce and a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes. It was uneatable.
We loved going to Lapuntada's. The owner was very polite and the food was delicious. Now new owners and new name. They are very rude and do not speak English. My wife refuses to go back. My son was there and had to wait an hour for his order and he said they were very rude to him. He also refuses to go back. My question is this, what happened to speaking English in America? What happened to being polite to your customers?
Wasn’t expecting such great food. Highly recommend
Amazing food and atmosphere. Service not so good. Potato kegs and burgers are amazing. Convenient location.
if you are out with friends drinking and nothing eles is open then you won't mind the food and service
I went here for lunch on a weekday.I ordered the rancheros enchiladas from the lunch menu. The enchiladas, rice and refried beans were excellent. I also had a homemade corn tortilla on the side. It was great. They brought out chips and 3 types of salsa. The salsas were ok. Not bad but not great. The chips were average. They appeared to be store bought. The sweet tea was good. The lunch menu items were only $5.99 and this included tea. Great value. Customer service was very good.I will go back.
I came here for lunch on a weekday. Friendly staff. I had the flautas lunch plate w/ sweet tea. It was very good. Prices were reasonable. The salsa was VERY good.I will go back.
Average.I came here for lunch on a weekday with a group of seven. We heard there’s not a lot of seating room and it gets crowded during lunch. They were right. People were lined up outside waiting for a table. We arrived early and were able to get seated right away. The staff was very friendly and the service was good.I had the beef puffy taco lunch plate. The food and salsa were average. My friends really liked the flour tortillas. I had the corn tortillas. They were tough and tasted freezer burned. The prices were a little high considering that you can get equal or better food at other places around town and a lower price.I would go back but I’m not in a hurry.
