~$100 for two turn signal bulbs.

My young adult daughter went to another shop, had a failed inspection due to brakes and a motor mount which were fixed, but she decided to go to a different shop for the re-inspection.

Her friend suggested this place. She will no longer trust this friend's recommendations.

The lights were not a problem on the first inspection. I wish she looked at user reviews, because if she did and saw the previous blaring horrible reviews of this company, she may have thought about going somewhere else.

They couldn't find anything major with her car (it was already fixed), so they found something to be nit-picky- they told her the "amber" was flaking off the turn signal lights and would fail inspection. Mind you, they didn't fail at the other shop. She has been frustrated with trying to get her vehicle inspection done, couldn't reach me immediately to ask my opinion. She did talk to her dad- but it sounded like the whole light assembly was being replaced (he didn't know there was nothing wrong with the light assembly.) Once she spoke to me, after she told them to go ahead over the phone, I was so mad. It is obvious that it doesn't take $85 of labor to change two (non-burnt out) light bulbs on a 07 Ford. I called them up and they were very short- she verbally approved the work over the phone, and he said he is just going by what the repair guys tell him to charge for labor. I know they flat out took advantage of a young woman. I have her father calling them now ( who could have easily change the two $4 bulbs for her), and I doubt we will get a happy resolution with this- but I want to warn everyone else who ever might think of coming here to avoid them like the plague that they are.

The current manager has given me the worst customer experience ever. He is rude, unprofessional, and very disrespectful. After seeking someone higher than him to form a complaint on, not only the customer experience given, but also the horrible job done on my BMW, I was able to see exactly how he was able to get away with this type of behavior. I unfortunately had an encounter with four different mechanics/managers and ALL of them treated me the same way Eric did. No one cared that I had paid $212 for an unnessary coolant flush. No one cared that the coolant flush was done incorrectly, and had now damaged my expansion tank (that I had to replace). The fact of the matter is I was told I needed something done, that didn't really need to be done and now I'm forced to pay more $$ to correct the horrible mess they created. UNBELIEVEABLE!! I feel like I was taken full advantage of and overcharged because I am a female. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR AND MONEY DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO SEE FOR THEMSELVES. The mechanics are not only disrespectful, but they must be inexperienced so like me you will end up spending more $$ fixing their mistake and regreting ever doing business with them. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!




... Have NEVER had such a bad experience in my life. Went to tune up plus to get an oil change, tire rotation, and have my fuel pump replaced.

... When i arrived the people behind the desk were to worried about texting and going outside to smoke to notice any customers. When i arrived home my car was smoking, i had to take it to a different car shop to find up TUNE UP PLUS only put 2 qt of non-synthetic oil(when i paid for a synthetic oil change) in my car and put the WRONG filter on. After contacting tune up plus a number of times they want to dodge me and my phone calls. I will never go back to this shop nor will i recommend it. I would advise against going here. Horrible work for Horrible prices

I had been taking my car to Xpress Lube on the corner of Tidewater Dr and Norview Ave for 2 years. Inspection time came up and i decided to take my car to Tune Up Plus on Military Hwy. They found that Xpress Lube wasn't doing much for my vehicle at all. To my estimation at that point, i only guess Xpress Lube was only topping off my fluids and taking naps on my numerous dimes. I was quote over 1000.00 for the repairs that were needed for my car. I only had about 600.00. The manager took what i had and gained a loyal customer for life or as long as i live in the area. The staff were courteous. I don't think they took breaks while fixing my car. I was greeted with a smile and a handshake also. As a woman, i would say that it is very hard to find a place that would not try to take advantage of you while fixing your vehicle, but Tune Up Plus is not that type of place.

Don't waist your time

I went there at 8am on a Saturday morning for a car inspection. I no-joke sat there till 530pm(I'm not exaterating at al). They charged me all these litle things to fix for inspection-things that I seriously doublted needed fixing. They then proceeded to charge me an arm and a leg and not even put my car back together correctly. They left the plastic piece hanging underneath my frount bumper. When I went back the next they they apologized and proceeded to fix it- doing a crappy job again by just attaching it by one bolt.

My customer satisfaction was nothing short of wanting to rent the billbard across the street to tell people to not go there. Don't waist your time- they have crummy customer service and do crummy work. It's what you're always afraid of when you get your car worked on- shady people.
