You know I'm mostly leaving this review because of these other reviews I have read. I have been there and yes it sucks to have to wait. Also, now a days, people who work at a business doesn't make up that business. They just accidentally hired a miserable person. Do guys realize how many animals the Norfolk SPCA save from being killed???? And they DO work hard. Obviously you guys like the prices....me too. So....for those prices I will sit there and not like it either. But I will and I continue to give as much as I can to the Norfolk SPCA!!!! And for new people who have never been there don't go on the weekends and don't show up when they open.....and it really isn't that bad. I have to go tomorrow....so I'm going to knock on some wood.

As I too sit in the lobby, I was asked if I needed assistance and I said all I needed to do was pay for my cat's vaccine and the lady looked at me, looked at one of the other girls working next to her, rolled her eyes and said, "I'm going on lunch" and left. We sat there for 2hrs before actually getting to pay before leaving. Contemplated walking out before paying and having it billed to our house. Come to find out they lost our paperwork
this place is awsome i have brought a lot my animals to them also three of my four children have volunteer there also i have brought a girl scout troop there for this place what it is doing for the community i think is great i have been coming here since the early nineties
I brought my kitten in for a 1st time exam and explained to the receptionist that my kitten had mucous coming out of his eyes and was sneezing. After waiting almost 20 minutes, another woman comes to me and says that I will have to make an appointment for an exam. The receptionist gives me an appointment for 1 week away. I asked for something sooner, she did that's all she had available. No one even came to look at my kitten to see if she needed to be seen sooner. I was very disappointed. If you call the office, you'll constantly get a voicemail requesting your name, phone #, and a brief message. It will take quite some time before the call is returned.
I am in the lobby as I write this review. The front desk staff is rude, passive and lack attentiveness. Front desk ignored me and provided one word responses to my questions. I will gladly not return to this location. I wish no star as an option for this place.
