If there was a spot for no stars, that's what I would have chosen. The problem I had with them was this:My kids drove their truck to Wayside in Noel and rented a canoe to float to the other campground (eagles nest) I believe. They brought the kids to eagles nest campground and gave them the canoe. We met them at this campground with our canoe and paid to park $5 per person. The plan was to just float with the kids and load up our canoe in their truck to go home. We all had a great time floating. We get back to wayside and go to load up our canoe in our kids truck (who paid to float, park, etc). Some child about 12 years old comes walking up to us and tells us we need to pay $5 per person to load OUR canoe, on OUR truck. Now, I understand the desire to make a living, but to purposely try and rip people off is just terrible. This sends the message to people to not own canoes, but to try and get full charge out of someone just for a 2 minute loading job. We caused no harm to the rock beach. Did no littering. Was not loud like all the other drunks out there. And to send a kid to do an adults job is distasteful. We did not pay, nor would we have had it been an adult trying to rip us off either. "A fool and his money are soon departed". We told the youth that we had already paid to canoe (parking included in the cost), plus park at the other campground. It just came off as a desire for the kid to collect money for basically nothing. I'm positive it was the owners influence that sent him over to us.So, from now on we will tell everyone about this experience and will never visit either of these greedy campgrounds again. Very distasteful greed policy. Shame on the owners of these two campgrounds. Shame on you.

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Worst camping I've ever experienced. Rude teenage staff, disgusting dirty facilities. We will never go back. Awful.
I think it MADE me give it one star but truly it dose NOT deserve that. This place is terrible, we didn't even camp here but this is the last place before you go over the dam to stop. We got separated from our floats and just wanted to wait beside the water for our raft to come, we didn't bother any of their stuff, didn't see any of their campers, didn't use any of their facilities but we were told that we were tress passing and they were calling the cops. It was late, it was just us two women with NOTHING (everything was on our boats) not even a towel and they were throwing us out to walk the town after we had been drinking with nothing on but a swim suit. What kind of people do that. I even told them we would pay what ever they needed when the boat arrive and not stay so basically GIVING them free money but they still wanted to be harsh. We used the term "freaking" They were very vulgar back saying we should just use the word "f**king" As for the campsite it's all rocks until you go way way back and they have a useless basketball court. Can't tell you much more because I didn't go to far but I can tell you they are the worst people I have ever met. I spoke with a local and told him the situation he said "he don't even know how they are still open because they are always like that" SAD. Please be aware.

Winds SSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 70%.If you book this place, I would suggest not booking it until the last minute.
