I love the cakes and cupcake and have recommended this bakery to many friends and relatives because of the great cakes. To my surprise upon a recent visit the counter attendant who was helpful in assisting me with my purchases packaged my baked goods in a box that was only fit to be thrown out! It had fingerprint smudges over the box and writing and doodleson it. I kindly ask the young lady to give me a fresh box because the presentation was just as important as the goods inside, especially when spending a nice sum of cash for your purchases. She complied but definitely demonstrated a truly perturbed attitude. Stephanie, train your staff that great customer service extends to not only assisting customers in a cordial manner, but presentation is key even down to packaging. One thing to make fabulous "slap yo mamma" food, but if it is not packaged well all goes to naught. Invest in some better containers add a holiday motif during the holiday for folks to remember your bakery. You can't blow up large when you and staff operate like its your home kitchen and you aren't marketing your goods in a better way. Even Dunkin Donuts invest a little in there packaging.
I was introduced to this lovely shop by a friend of mine and have been hooked EVER since. This is the BEST dessert place I've been to!! And if you like key lime pies (my favorite) she has those AND these WONDERFUL key lime bars!!! THE BEST!! It is surrounded with a very yummy graham craker crust that melts in your mouth. Also at this shop are all types of pies, bananna pudding, cookies, different flavors of cupcakes, peach cobbler to nale just a few.....and everything is fresh so its best to call to see what's available. If it's not ready at the moment she will give you an estimated time of FRESH arrival :) Not to mention you can pre-order items too. So I love the small personal service that makes you feel at home plus the fact that everything is THE BEST!!!! You cannot go wrong....Keep up the fantasic work and I will keep raving about your place and sending all my friends/family. God bless you :)

This facility services the tristate areas from the private hotdog stands to public schools and prisons. They are a chicago tradition and the hot dog would not be the same with them. They perform a fine extent of charity work from bread stuffs to the needy to promotional events. The only downside to this company is their lead enginneer (M.P.) who has driven countless valuable employees from the ranks due to his incompitence and blackmailing/lying and taking credit when not due and blaming others for his countless mistakes. I am assured if they would dispose of him as they do their old bread employee moral, profits and down time would be more favorable and it would be easier to assertain ISO certification.
Those Artopitas are a mini art form. Actually everything they make is like a work of art. The Pomme Frittes are great, you get a Dijon mustard dipping sauce which I had never had. It's a good combo. But those Artopitas... oh my... SO DELICIOUS. And also, I see other people have mentioned the potato salad. I'm not sure why, but it is seriously like the best potato salad! It's simple red potatoes in a very simple dressing but it is just amazing. Definitely save room for dessert. The "symphony mousse" tart was incredible.
In my opinion these cupcakes are alright. There is a good selection of Gluten Free cupcakes which is nice for those with allergies. However the fruit filled cupcakes are atrocious it was mushy and soggy when I bit into it and the cupcake folded into itself like it was melting. The standard cupcakes are better but the frosting is too greasy/oily you can tell they use alot of fat. Good atmosphere and fun & interesting seating. Overall the experience was alright but the service & price is what made the experience fair.
I recently went to Roeser Bakery for a birthday cake. It had been many, many, years since I had been there. I live way on the other side of town but it was worth the drive. The cake was the best. My grand daughter's birthday is coming up and I definitely going to order from there. The young lady who waited on me was patient and very nice. As I was walking down the street to get on the bus and a gentleman saw the bag he even commented on how good of a bakery it is. Kudos keep on doing what you are doing.
That is exactly what I am saying when I step up to the counter! I love the sweet potatoe squares, apple cobbler, oatmeal raisin cookies, coconut cake, apple fritter (HUGE) with pecans on it and THOSE MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DONUTS!!! Glazed are my favs! The service is Great! They accept credit and debit cards! (a rareity for the hood) and do whatever they can to accomodate you. I was very pleased with the sweets and the service. I have never walked out without more than one bag!
It was our High School 25th Reunion. I used Dominos bakery with the recomendation of our banquet hall. I order my own creation of an atomic cake and it was delicious. Pink, Chocolate and Green Pistachio with alternating frostings in beween. It was a big hit. They made a copy of our Yearbook and put in on the cake. It looked great and it tasted even better. They were a pleasure to work with. I will order all of my special occasion cakes through them from now on. Yummy!!!
I travel quite a distance to purchase their cannoli's. Their fantastic. Not a great experience on my last visit though - 5/12/08, I purchased 8 cannoli's only to find out when I arrived home that there were no pistachio nuts on them. When I called to inquire, the girl on the phone said "sorry, we ran out of pistachio nuts, I thought you knew," How would I know if she didnt mention it, and furthermore it's like eating a sundae without the toppings? what's the use?
