Went there on a week end while visiting a friend. Food is always good well priced. Enjoyed my time. Plate was full. Great BYOB

Baliboy I.

I eat at Trattoria Giuseppe frequently. The food has always been excellent. The fixed price menu allows you to choose anything on the menu Monday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays is always packed.

I've learned that it is best to come at 8 p.m. those days when it is much easier to get a table.

Best Italian food west of city.

Simply the best food in the area. We have been there dozens of times and every dish is a treasure. We're consistently amazed how every dish can be the best you ever tasted. My only caution would be to avoid Saturday night as they get very crowded with a tendency to overbook. The best deal is the weekday luncheon special, where you can get a great Caesar salad and a fantastic entre for $10.99.

worst dining experience ever......

we had a 730 reservaation on an obviously busy saturday night. when we saw the 630 reservations getting seated at 720 pm we knew trouble was at hand. we even arrived a half hour early and ended up waiting till about 815 pm to get seated. we had an 88 yo great grandmother with us and it got very very uncomfortable waiting in the super crowded overstuffed lobby full of waiting patrons with reservations and insufficient seating.

the hostess, upon hearing the suggestion that maybe they overbooked suggested not at all, we will be seated in a few minutes. very patronizing and insulting. the wait staff told us this is how they do business.

once seated we were next to the utensil closet and had to deal with a racket of metal utensils being put in and refilled by the bus boys. the seat seemed created and pushed into the corner to create more customer income. what a pia.

the food was good.

they use the usairways reservation system near as I could tell only there were no offers of free future meals for anyone willing to give up their overbooked reservations. Overall a very unpleasant evening.

i feel this is a manifestation of a restaurant with good food and really greedy owners/managers doing their best to squeeze as many patrons as possible into a very unpleasant restaurant.

dont go!

Worst dining experience I've ever had!

The restaurant building is nice and that's as far as the good stuff goes. The owner is rude, nasty and completely unfair in all aspects. This restaurant is not very large and either they don't know how to manage reservations or they intentionally make people wait so it always looks crowded.
Unfortunately, we had our Grandson's Christening party at this restaurant and it was a fiasco from the get go! We rented a room for a specified amount of time and when we arrived at the restaurant, there were people still eating in the room we rented...we had to wait for them to finish, but even before our time was up, they almost pushed us out the door! We paid more for each meal than the cost on the menu, but each meal was a cut down version....a little more than half of what you get when ordering from the menu. A couple invited guests never made it to the restaurant and the owner still charged us for their meals, which was exorbitant to begin with. One of our guests complained that her food was very salty and the owner argued the point with her. Other people tasted it and agreed, but the owner was nasty and would not concede that the food was too salty. On top of all that, the servers were not friendly at all. They looked angry and when someone asked for more water, bread, coffee or soda, they had to wait a long time. The coffee cups were filled half way and was hardly warm and the cold drinks were mostly ice.
Our Grandson's Christening party should have been a happy, memorable occassion, but having it at this restaurant turned it into an embarassing event that cost us a fortune! My family and friends will NEVER set foot in this place again! All of the bad reviews are right on!

A hidden gem

This food here is wonderfully fresh and delicious. The menu is huge and they make it easy with a number system, when placing your order, should you not wish to practice your Italian. The portions are extremely generous, too.

You receive a complimentary plate of 4 pieces of brushcetta....which is always fresh and delicious, when I have had it, for you to eat while looking at their menu.

Their salads are just as gorgeous as they are delicious! They always seem to have a unique and fresh combination of fruit or nuts, that I always has me listen for the salad special, each time I visit.

While I am not Italian, my friends that are - and are fussy on such things, give high marks to their pasta and "sauce" for their authenticity.

And the best news? It is a byob. So, you know your bill will be reasonable. I have used this restaurant for holiday dinners, work lunches and after work dinner with friends or family. The services is always friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious.

It shares space in the same shopping center with an over priced chain seafood restaurant. Your will get a much better value for your money coming here instead, I can assure you of that.

Went for Italian. Special was stuffed filet w/spinach and shrimp in port wine sauce, homemade mashed potatoes ( and they were ), and green beans w/carmelized onions. Couldn't resist, so got it. Unbelievably, mmm...mmm, good! Dessert to die for, too.

You gotta go. Make reservations.
