My Husband and I bought my car at Power of Newport in the beginning of December 2016, (2010 Chevy Impala). 33 days after I bought my car I went out to start it in the morning and it wouldn't start, turned out it was my fuel pump and it would be almost $1,300 to fix my car. Sol at Power told me I was S.O.L. because I had no warranty so I got it fixed elsewhere. Well fast forward to this week and Bonnie at Power talked to Mike (the manager) and he was more than willing to reimburse me my money and fix another issue my car has been having since I bought it! Totally different take on things now that they got rid of the bad seeds in a good bunch of people! I will definitely continue to do my business with Power of Newport! The actual buying of my car and overall experience the day I bought it with Bonnie was Great!

The pads wore prematurely, probably not his fault. But I did buy the car from his dealership. I suggested that perhaps he should contact Mazda and see if they would reimburse me for substandard OEM parts and the labor to replace them. He said he would look into it.Got a call from the Mazda corporate office today. According to the conversation with the service manager, the brake wear was due to the driving habits of my wife and that the dealership had already given me a discount from their normal cost of $360.00 per axle. I was stunned as she asked me if I had any other questions. I just wanted to pass on to any of my Lincoln County, Oregon, Newport, Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, SPCH friends… If you plan to take your car to Sunwest Honda for service, you better bring your own lube because chances are they will charge you for it while bending you over.
