The reason I rated my experience as a two is because I went three different times to get matter resolve. The first time the shop was close I spoke with one of the guys in service told him that I worked the rest of the week and get off at 5pm." I stated I would bring it in on Saturday morning and would that be a problem." "He stated no it would not."The second time I arrived at 9:35 and I spoke with Bill Nettles and he did not want to look at my car." He stated how busy they were and to bring it in Monday morning early." I understand they had to verify with warrant about deductible and warranty and not being open. Mr. Bill Nettles give me a phone and" told me to call Monday before I come and he would get me a rental. I said ok. Monday comes I call twice it goes to voicemail and leave a message and someone would return my call. I was already almost there." So I arrived at 7:45 a.m. and enter service parts I see Mr . Bill Nettles he walks by my car like we never spoke on Saturday after looking at the problem with my car. " I had to go to a different person and give details ,get register for rental, discuss what was wrong and total it all. This is very unprofessional Mr.Bill Nettles stated I had the platinum warranty and I all I would have to pay is my deductible . That was a lie also because my total was 100 dectible plus another 1.12 dollars and 86 cent. If I have platimum warranty why did I have to pay anything. On Saturday when I came and spoke with "Bill Nettles he was very rude , unprofessional even after I stated how my car was running. He basically just rush me along because he did not want to even look at my car. My father has been a customer with Casey for 33 plus years brought many cars from there. This is my second car from Casey but I am very strong on taking my business elsewhere soon. Frasers was recommended to me for inspection. While they seem honest & knowledgeable, they are FAR FROM ACCOMODATING. First off, they're gonna make you make at least 2 trips maybe more. They always say no appts for inspections... to show up 8A and be first. I showed up at 8:02A & a 3 hr wait already ughhh what??? yet I saw no ppl? So I figure they musta dropped off - but wait, I didnt think u cud do that for inspection & evn if u can & sum1 comes that wants to wait - To me, they cud cut them in get them done & send them on down the road. Aftr all, these other ppl r workin & not gona p/u their cars til end of day. Im not sayn I wont go back as they are honest & & dont pick your car apart & anyone can put up with annoyance no more often than that & I will say their wait area is in no way clean. Tryna find a an honest inspection/mechanic is like tryna find a needle in a haystack & these guys are that, just always put u off, seem grumpy & not very accommodating.
My husband and I are a military couple new the the Newport News area and felt very welcome at Hall Ford. Clint greeted us when we pulled onto the lot and never made us feel pressured or uncomfortable. We both knew exactly what we wanted and what we could afford and the team at hall (salesman, sales manager, and finance team) did not push us to pay for any more than we had asked, they actually were able to get us under our expected payment! As a previous car salesman I was very hesitant to step into a dealership with all the stress we are under from the move to Virginia from the west coast but the team here at Hall made the process easy and enjoyable. Everyone was very friendly and was willing to listen to our wants and needs rather than try to convince us otherwise! I would recommend Hall to any of my friends or family and never think twice! I recommend Gosine's Auto Repair! I like the idea of patronizing our community's smaller businesses. Gosines is a family run operation. The front end of the business is managed by Mrs. Bultler. She is knowledgeable and evidently understands her cutomer's needs. Sometimes mechanics make mistakes. Yes, sometimes things break! In servicing my car the heat shield for the air cleaner box was broken. Gosines repaired the damage and most importantly assumed the cost. However I was twiced wowed when I was told heat shield was already broken when I brought it in. Wowed again after having the shield replaced, looking under the hood and finding a small screw driver on the battery and being told the screw driver was not theirs! Wow! All's well that ends well! Nontheless Gosines Auto is a good place to have your car serviced.

outstanding when he can help, but was turned down twice to get my truck inspected. my truck broke down on a busy intersection on my way there to find out that it wouldn't get inspected today, it would have to wait till saturday. i told him yesterday my check engine light was on, no big deal . i have never had a problem in the past, just don't know what's going on. i came home after someone else helped me and it's getting inspected by someone else too. mr thornton said he found the parks for my emergency breaks when you said you couldn't . he isn't inspecting the truck, but i think i will start going there instead
First time with A & E They were recommended to me for inspection. Owner was VERY accommodating - which is always a good sign - and as I was leaving, someone else was arriving that had been referred. You know, you feel like ur always rolling the dice with a new or unfamiliar auto shop for fear of dishonesty... but NOT here :) Quick n & out, very accommodating and I so appreciated it. Didn't pick my car apart for unnecessary fixes either :) Finding an honest mechanic is like tryna find a needle in a haystack & I was impressed with this place. so I will definitely return.
So yesterday we went out looking for a second vehicle for our family of 6. The staff was so kind and generous to my husband, myself, and 2 year old. They were friendly and helpful. Loyal and compassionate to our needs and helped us purchase a van. We will be definitely coming back to them with any other future car purchases. They truly and sincerely care for their customers and fulfilling their needs. Great experience. I would highly recommend them. Honest, friendly, and funny. Great customer service.
Man, I wish I had known about this little pop and pop auto shop right in my own 757! They are awesome! Nothing fancy, just the old school shop, and a small area to pay/wait but you know the inspection didn't come to over 100 like i'd thought it would. My break pad's were just fine. Turned out to be just 40 bucks at the end of the day. These guys are great, locally owned, run and have outstanding service. I will be going next year to have my inspection done again at Sprinkle and Williams. They rock.
