RUN AWAY! Not worth your money.

Unfortunately, we recently had our son's birthday party at Rebounderz. The children in our group ranged in age from 3-19. My son (7) was very excited about visiting Rebounderz.. When we arrived they made our group watch a safety video which was fine for the older children. 3-7 year olds watched, but were given no other instruction nor were they asked if they understood the video. The party hostess swiftly marched them to our party room to put on safety gear. she told them they had 70 minutes to jump and disappeared. The 3-7 year olds did not understand they ahd to stay on the same square. The parents in our group tried to explain this and were whistled at to leave. The referee's do nothing but blow the whistle. They disn't say anything and the children had no idea why they were being whistled at. There was utter chaos inside of the jumper. There were many adults and older children who were all over the place and the children in our party may ahve stayed in the jumper for a total of 10 minutes because they were terrifeid between the unexplained whistling and the adults flipping etc. we ended up spending a small fortune on arcade games for children who were too young to understand what they were playing because the children were too afraid to jump. The party cost about $300 BEFORE we even walked in the door. I have never been so disgusted in my life. The kids that worked there were not even close to helpful - they had attitude and pretty much wanted to use their time on the clock to socialize with their co-workers. I guess if I had a positive point to make it would be that the pizza was good. I will never give this place my business again and I will tell everyone I know what a rip off it is. Our son's 7th birthday was a wash and we can never get that back.

Don't waste your time and keep your money in your pocket. This place is just awful. If you are hesitant about it-just don't go. I went with my 2 kids, one who is 4 and was having trouble and kept falling down. The man kept blowing his whistle at him and then at me for trying to help him. If you're unhappy, talking to the manager will only make it worse because they don't care and they don't give refunds. This place is disorganized, expensive and just not fun! Stay away! You'll be glad you did.

This place was terrible. I went for a birthday party for my nephew, and I brought my 3 year old with me. I wasn't allowed into the foam pit to get my struggling kid out, he had to stay in a square by himself ( A ridiculous thing to ask a 3 year old.). We got an attitude from almost everyone who worked there, and we felt rushed the whole time. I will never go back again.

In response to your post, our referees are trained to take every safety precaution possible to ensure your guests/ our customers are as safe as one could be on a trampoline. Our average per month for injuries is .001% and we attribute this record to our safety policy and guidelines. Our referees are trained to maneuver through the foam pit without injuring themselves or the person they are trying to assist out of the pit. Also, only guests who have verified waivers and received a stamp and gear are allowed in the pit and on the trampoline for insurance and legal purposes. I'm sorry you felt you got "attitude" from the staff, that is something I wish you would have discussed with the Manager on Duty. As far as being rushed, a birthday party is slotted for 2 hours. You get 70 minutes on the jumper and 50 minutes in the party room. That is standard and the way it is when you go anywhere for a "scheduled" birthday party. We have time limits and schedules that must be followed so each person who booked a party gets their fair share.

Fun but there are so many rules to this place! My daughter and her friend couldn't do anything fun. If you're into flipping and such and it's not too crowded it is fun but an hour for 15 dollars a person gets expensive. I understand the safety measures of trampolines but you'd be better off getting your own in your own backyard and doing what you want on it.

Our safety record preceeds our name. You have a .001% of injuring yourself at our facility due to the rules. I'm sure if you look at the safety record for "personal" trampolines, you will see that it is no where close to that. You mentioned the price was high. In comparing our price to other activites in the 7 Cities, we are the same based on the activity and risks associated with the activity. I would recommend checking us out on Facebook (Rebounderz Newport News), follow us on Twitter (RBZNewportNews) and/or www.RebounderzNewportNews.com for Daily Dealz and Specials throughout the week. We run some pretty amazing deals Tuesday through Thursday.
