Dr. Moucharafieh graduated from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon in 1971, and completed his internship at the University Medical Center. He attended Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, an affiliate hospital of Albany Medical College, Albany, New York. He completed four years of residency in general surgery. During that time he also joined the teaching faculty at Albany Medical College as an Instructor in Anatomy in 1973.

Answer: The majority of complications are mild and easily treated. They include matting, allergic reactions, hyperpigmentation and small areas of trapped blood.
