        John has had a general practice near the intersections of the 405, 55, and 73 freeways for over thirty years working with men, women, teenagers, children, and marriages. Many referrals are from former clients and local churches. He works hard at keeping up with the latest research on what works best for particular problems. He believes in setting goals and coaching in a warm, supportive, and professional style to solve problems and to feel better. In marriage counseling he sees the marriage itself as the client, working to support and improve it. He is also the speaker at a divorce recovery workshop which has had over 15,000 attend it since 1981, currently averaging over 110 registrants. Dr. Fry has also given over 400 seminars on stress management to, among others, IBM, NBC, Farmers Insurance, the U.S. Navy, The Los Angeles Times, and the faculties at Fuller Theological Seminary.
