Food was okay, service was very slow. Bartender was scatter brained. Not impressed for a $75 tab. Won't be back.
I visited Healthy Food Café the second day they were open (1/24/17). They bill it as a "touch of Thai" so I ordered a typical Thai dish. My fried rice with chicken was so delicious I thought I was in Bangkok. The best was yet to come when I ordered Mango with sticky rice for desert. In most Thai restaurants in the States I cant seem to get the same taste in the mangos that I have enjoyed in Bangkok but Healthy Food Café nailed it. The shop is 2 blocks off the Newnan square. The décor is much like you would expect in 1950's small town Newnan. The tables and chairs look like they came out of American Graffiti with a bright inviting interior. You expect The Fonz to walk in and order one of the fresh fruit smoothie's. The staff was super friendly even a little Thai spoken to make it authentic.
We were excited to try this place when it opened but it was awful. I ordered crab rangoons (a staple bc they're my favorite) and they were the worst I'd ever had. There was so lottle filling that they basically could have given me plain wontons and it would have been the same thing. They skimped so bad that I wondered if they were running out of money to buy the ingredients. And they were so plasticy! I also got beef with vegtables and there was basically no beef but there was a hair! Gross! After that I couldn't eat anymore. My husband got chicken and broccoli and said it was flavorless. After spending $27 there we ended up ordering a pizza. No second chance for this place.
Great new york style pizza!!
I bought pizza at this location over the weekend. The place was filthy with disrt debris and cat hair on the counters. I told the workers not to sit my pizza box down on the dirty counter. They didn't even attempt to clean the counter off. I told them that the counters were the first thing a person sees when they walk in. Not to mention greasy fingerprints EVERYWHERE. I paid $27 for what was supposed to be a large pizza, which happened to be in a Medium box and 6 hot wings. BOO and double BOO
Good food HORRIBLE service no one seems to know what is going on. All in all not worth the aggregation.
Wish this review was better. A friend brought one of these Pizzas to a party several months ago and I was thrilled to finally taste a New York Style Pizza from this area. It was great. A week ago I took a friend to this place for lunch. First thought was this is a bit expensive but ok, worth it if it's a good as I had the first time. Was 18.00 for medium Pepperoni and Mushroom, must of got the bill wrong as this is a large pie price and not whats posted on their website. The Pizza came out odd shaped and the crust was practically flat. NY style is a thin crust with bubbly edge like you see in the pictures here. That's not what we got. I would guess there was no yeast in the dough, it was flat, dry and bland. The sauce was very good but the Cheese, Pepperoni and Mushrooms were very, very scarce. My friend even commented, "didn't we order a Pepperoni, Mushroom?" Very disappointing and hope they get it back together so I can once again a NY style Pizza in this area.
We always order from this Newnan, GA Pizza Hut. But something has changed.Their always 1hr 1/2 behind and calling at 7pm on a Friday night and your out of pizza dough.....for real?!?BOOOO!!!!
Applebee's used to be a great place to eat lunch or dinner at but not anymore. Bcuz the last my husband n I n our kids went, my husband found a piece of blonde hair n his dessert. I have also heard people around our table that there food was cold. I have also heard from my family that they found a broken plate piece n their food n a roach n the coke drink.i will recommend u not to go there. IT'S VERY NASTY!!!!
Hmm... What do 'baked chicken strips' mean to you?Well to google image search it means breaded strips of chicken that are baked. I mean duh. But go ahead and see if you see any cubed bits of chicken in the first 400 results (I didn't look any further)Didn't think so.Well at joe fridays they like to update their website with coupons and everything else BUT the menu to reflect what they actually serve. Take our culprit for example, the chicken parm.If you look at their website now at this date you will see it says it comes with BAKED CHICKEN STRIPS.Though I'm sure they will scramble to change that or actually start serving what they say they will once they see thisI called to ask and make sure they didn't run out or something. but no, The owner defended himself. Stuttering, trying to stretch the words to mean 'baked' 'chicken' and 'strips'. How about 'plain' 'chicken' 'cubes'. I wish it was just a mistake though seriously, I wouldn't have to write this. This is amplified by the fact they updated their website TODAY saying to come on down for their 3rd year anniversarySo what about an actual review then while were here, shall we?You will be able to crack jawbreakers when you're done with the dough, give it to your dog as a chew toy and you have yourself a rottweiler . I'm making jokes but me and my families jaws HURT after making it though 2-3 slices. Dog didn't say anything. It brings me to seriously question the others leaving these on here. And others werent wrong when they say the guy was rude.(Check the sharpsburg location yelps, they just moved, and I'd be wary of a wave of good reviews after this one. lets just say theyre... family owned. That is unless they actually earn it this time, the balls in your court joe fridays.)So whats the plus side to this place? real cheese. But they might just throw on some kraft and tell you to deal with it.
