General Info
In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Newington, CT is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

small portions

two women from where i work took me me out for supper to your facility.

usually women do not finish a meal. well all 4 of us did. 2 of us ordered salads.

if all of us finished the meal and had dessert, this tells me that the portion was a small one. we all had the 5 cheese macaroni with the chicken.

if you are going to serve a small portion, then serve it with a salad at no extra charge. the portion that was served should have been a lunch portion.

this was my first time going to your restaurant in awhile along with one of the other women. i dont know about her, but it would be a long time before i go again.

This is the worst place to eat on the Turnpike

Last Saturday was the first and last time we will be eating at this horrible place. The staff is juvenile, they cater to the 25-year-old crowd ONLY, the service is non-existant, the food is way below par . . . there wouldn't be one reason to return.
