I tried to purchase 2 pairs of ladies dress shoes from Footprints. The salesman was not very knowledgeable or helpful.
I had to insist that he measure my feet and the shoes I selected were in metric sizes. Apparently, he didn't bother to check a chart to find out that a 38 generally translates to a 7 NOT an 8. I spent one miserable day in one pair and took the other right back. The return was perfunctory and the floor manager wandered off before I completed the return transaction. I spent $424 on two pairs of shoes, you'd think they might value my business a bit more.

This store has so many styles to choose form. It's amazing what you can find there. I go there all the time amd everytime I find something. Try it out, you may like it alot.

Before visiting this place I had no idea of the science of getting a proper fit. The salesperson took the time to explain and to fit my hard to fit feet. He also explained what makes some shoes more expensive than others. Once I knew that, making the choice became easier. He tells me they get trained to do the work they do, and it shows. My feet tank you.

Like most people I have traditionaly purchased footwear at a department store and got no service or service from a know nothing clerk. My feet paid the price. The sales person at Footprints really knew what he was talking about, got me a pair of dress shoes that feels great, and if I paid a few bucks extra, to me it's worth every penny.
