Overall
New chef

We recently dined at CASA SEABRA and were thrilled with the new menu. Chef Hipolito has brought a new dimension of Portuguese foods to the Ironbound area of Newark. Do not miss this hidden jewel.

Overall
Unhealthy to everyone

Don't waste your time and money, this place looks really good from the outside but as soon as you get inside you will be hugged by a dense smoke coming from the grills. It's difficult to breath and even to see another person just 4 or 5 feet away from you. If you have kids don't go there, is not healthy for any one. Also, they have parking limitations and even-though at Newark NJ you can double park without a problem your car can perfectly be towed by a towing company that works in conjunction with the Mediterranean Manor.

Overall
good choice for a night out

They dont do only catering, I go to the dining area. I enjoy going here with friends. The sangria is very good, the appetizers are ample to share amongst 5 people, and is filling. They drown their food in vinegar, but I think thats a cultural thing. OVerall, food is tasty. The wait staff are pleasant and friendly. The ambience inviting and relaxing. Decor is like a Spanish style villa. There's also a bar adjacent to the dining area. Find parking in a lot across from the restaurant for a minimal fee. Price is reasonable, mid $20s, lo $30s for entrees, appetizers are $8+
