To @puppylovenyc you're obviously a plant and haven't used the service and if you had you'd actually have something to say about the service. I've used the service over 5 years and have there been mistakes? Of course, has Josh and his team immediately owned up to them? In a heartbeat. I'd actually advise Downtown Pets to consider contacting their lawyer about your attempt to defame their business with a baseless post.
@puppylovenyc I'd love to have an open dialogue with you and or anyone for that matter with a complaint or concern but when I'm not given that opportunity than yes I have to get the facts straight. I'm all for feedback if it's constructive and not simply meant to hurt my business or the paychecks of the employees I provide for. The truth is I didn't think the prior reviewer was a good fit for our company and vice a versa. Instead of creating an uncomfortable situation for the client or us I asked them to look for another service to work with, and we gave them as much time as they needed to do so. Much of what they wrote ranged from an unfortunate misunderstanding to simply not the truth. Note nothing regarded the care of their dog or their house, about 95% of our job. We simply did not connect on a personal level and that's why I urged them to look for another company, and again I gave them no timetable to do so. If given the opportunity to address a problem we go out of our way to offer casino customer service and hundreds if not over a thousand clients can attest to this. Again I made clear and will again I never want a client to feel uncomfortable or leave on such terms and they rarely ever do. When you deal with so many different personality types and your job involves someone's pets in their home it's can be ripe for emotion and some misunderstandings. I get that and respect that. We do have some core policies that we don't bend on and sometimes to be honest if someone can't get what they want they perceive that as rude. Feel free to email me with any questions, and that includes the two reviewers here, I'd be thrilled to try and make amends or give you piece of mind. Best, Josh Schermer - Downtown Pets email@example.com
These people are unbelievably rude and unprofessional. maybe they were just having a bad day, but hey, you work in customer service and you cant treat people like crap.i felt like they put on a "nice" front to make money, but when it came down to it, they were mean people. don't go here, go somewhere else.ps, the exhaustive response from the company (below) should show you what i'm talking about. with them, there's a reason for everything and they are always the victim when something goes wrong for the customer. it would be so much better to just see a straight apology, not a million excuses. good god.
