Maybe next time I'll take someone else's suggestion and order from the taqueria instead of reserving a table because the service was reallly slow. Not to mention, I felt like we were packed in there like sardines. I could literally reach my arm across and grab the centerpiece off the table beside me which meant we were also totally engulfed in the loud conversation from the party beside us. The food was great, but it felt like a tease when I saw how small the helpings were. I could have literally eaten three of my meals to myself. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're A. starving and B. in a rush.
Stopped by this place this past Saturday actually on the way to another place, the music lights and fantastic hostess got me and my 5 friends in instead.we all ordered appetizers to do like a family style meal and try everything, guac and nachos were off the hook yummy!!had a fishbowl,a 65 oz Long Island ice tea and many margaritas and shots from what I could remember lol, great fun upbeat place with great drinks and service was friendly, will be back and will recommend to others.p.s get cherries!!!
I've heard about this place but never actually tried it before. I'm glad I finally did. I've always preferred Chinese over Thai or Indian, but I love spicy and my friend says it's one of her favorite restaurants.Amazing soup and appetizers, dishes are very decent in size and the waiter was very helpful at giving suggestions. I loved the Chicken Vinderloo and at my friends suggestion had the mixed grill. What a treat! Even the desserts were wonderful! I will be back.
BEST KOSHER RESTAURANT and now OPEN FOR LUNCH!!!I had the great news that Tevere Restaurant now opens for lunch. I went last week with three other mothers after a long meeting we had at out kids school. We had a great time! Been there many times for dinner but it was my first for lunch and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go again pretty soon. The lunch menu was different from the dinner one and the quality of the food was excellent (as usual).
I love Mexican food and was skeptical about this place because it's in Chelsea market with a lot of tourists. My friend told me it was the best taco he's had in America, so I had to try... Most importantly, their food is amazing. The corn tortillas are seriously hand rolled right in front of you and the meat is juicy. Good size guacamole side as well. One disappointing part is there is no place to sit.
We tried Spice Cove for the first time a week ago when we joined friends for a birthday dinner. The restaurant is very cozy and comfortable and the staff very friendly. We just kept ordering food, dish after dish, everything was delicious!Coconut Samosa, Tikka Masala, and my favorite, the Chicken Vindaloo, it was all exceptionally good. Prices were very reasonable and we will be going back!
Me and a few friends went here a few days ago for 4/20 hehehehe.....the food was good...I can't remember what I had because of the 4/20 daze i was in, but I remember all of us simply devouring everything in front of us...the drinks were awesome...the speciality drinks come in a HUGE glass!!! The price was right, and the place is sooo colorful!! lol
I have been coming here since day 1. I loved it then and still come. They never cease to amaze me. I love the food (especially the portions) and the deserts and the music... Brings me back each and every time. Thank you so much Mad Dog and Beans. I will continue to come here so as long as you stay the same. Truly yours a long time supporter.
I have heard about this joint in Chelsea Market from everyone and finally took the plunge and tried them. They were as good as advertised. The tacos are small so you will want several but at a few bucks each they aren't too expensive. Go with the asada and you won't be disappointed.
Came in round 1pm, ordered nachos w/steak, cheese appetizer: guacamole was bland, meat was grilled but unseasoned, entire meal tasteless. Waiter more interested in patrons across the way and women in outdoor patio.Won't be coming back here. outdoorsman patio.
