If you need physical therapy, go to Dr. Har-El. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. Dr. Rivi Har-El and the RiVision Healing Center are not what you expect if you've ever been to a Physical Therapist. You will not see a row of stationary bikes and pay PT rates while you exercise. She will do hands-on manual manipulation and work directly on your problem areas. I had limited mobility from the build-up of scar tissue from running injuries. She broke up the scar tissue and got me back to running marathons. I'll be running my 12th NYC Marathon this Nov. Thank you Dr. Har-El.
In the four weeks I have worked with Ambika I have found her kind, patient and knowledgeable. She expects (and probably receives in most cases) a high level of commitment from her patients but is careful not to make demands which they are unable to fulfill. As a result my progress has been significant and I have enjoyed our sessions which I continue to look forward to. Geoffrey Pitts
Dr. Rivi is a true professional and has such a strong passion for her work and her patients that shines every time you meet with her. Her warm personality and attentiveness makes you feel extremely comfortable, and her thorough technique has been instrumental in helping me overcome my lower back pain and return to the physical activities I love. She takes the time to make sure you fully understand the treatment goals and patiently explains why we do particular exercises, so you understand the full picture of your treatment path. She is wonderful when it comes to providing patients with the tools to continue and/or supplement their therapy outside of the office. I highly recommend you visit Dr. Rivi at the RiVision Healing Center!
Dr. Rivi Har-El is not a typical Physical Therapist. She has been far more effective for me than all others that I'd been to. I've been treated by Dr. Har-El for 15 years and she's helped me with pain in my back, neck, calves, glutes, knees, feet and my chronic pain from fibromyalgia. She treats the whole person and the whole body. Most importantly, unlike any of the other practitioners, she traces the problem to its source and works on eliminating the cause of the problem. She uses many modalities as appropriate, and "listens" to your body with her fingers and hands. She does manual mobilization and/or energy work on the area of complaint. Her Rivision method is unique - I hope you get to experience it yourself.
I highly recommend Dr. Rivi to anyone and already have referred friends and family members to her. Dr. Rivi is a true miracle worker. I have struggled with several physical ailments ranging from shoulder pain to hip and knee issues and she has helped repair them without the needs for surgeries (when doctors were trying to convince me to have surgery). I feel as good as new and I owe it all to Dr. Rivi. She works differently than any other PT I have ever experienced. She gives you individualized time and attention and works with both mind and body. She has a way of making you feel as though you're her only patient and is fully present with you at all times. Again, I can't recommend her highly enough.
I am a Broadway performer in Lion King and I was introduced to my physical thearapist Alvin Dike at Cynergy through a work colleague. Mr. Dike helps me maintain my mobility that allows me to get through my weekly shows. His expertise in physical therapy is awakening And his knowledge is rewarding. The facility is always clean and The Staff is Caring and Courteous. Highly recommended!!!Kenny IngramActor
Best physical therapy center in Manhattan. Run by most experienced and hard working staff! Very efficient and professional.
What a great team! From the minute you walk in you know you're in the right place. I had been dealing with chronic neck and back pain for a couple years now since im in a field that required manual labor so i knew from the first visit that i would need to come back at least 2 times a week to feel my best and be able to do the things i need to. Not only do they have a doctor in physical therapy but a chirpractor who is in every day and a DO doctor who specializes the muscles/bones of the body. i have my follow up tomorrow and ill be all ready for the weekend!
Dr Sid and his ScoliSMART treatment is a scam and just lures people through digital marketing propaganda. It is completely barbaric and my scoliosis ended up increasing. He does not have the patients best interests first and is all about the money. You can also see the review on RipOffReport.com http://m.ripoffreport.com/reports/scolismart-clinic-dr-sid/new-york-new-york-10036/scolismart-clinic-dr-sid-esprit-wellness-dr-aatif-siddiqui-scolismart-is-a-scam-dr-s-1370550I did the 2 week bootcamp, something that many people can't easily do with their working schedule, and as mentioned was completely barbaric and brutal on the body. Had I actually decreased I wouldnt care so much, but my scoliosis ended up increasing which was reinforced by 2 doctors. The treatment itself is unrealistic to applying to everyday life and you rely on machines instead of being aware of what's happening with your body. There is no long term proof that this works either. I can now say that I recommend the Schroth method, something that's internationally recognized with extensive literature to support the benefits of it. Plus you are the one in control of your body and can be applied to every day life. Avoid this doctor and this kind of treatment.
I first worked with Ambika a number of years ago at a physical therapy facility. When I learned she had started providing home-therapy service, I was thrilled. I have worked with her in my apartment on at least three different occasions for a variety of problems. She comes prepared with tools and accessories to facilitate a range of PT activities. I have also recommended her to my nephew, who is a sports medicine rehabilitation M.D. at NY Presbyterian/Weill-Cornell.
