Life Extension. I have a Barnes and Noble (B&N) nook HD Plus. The battery went bad. Note this was just before I discovered the superiority of Amazon’s Kindle devices with its superior content and support. For the nook, I called B&N. I realized that the standard warranty was expired so my goal was DIY for the battery. B&N’s response was first, the battery is not replaceable. Second, support was no longer offered for my device. And third, I got a hard pitch to turn in my device as a trade-in for their newer Samsung devices. Now I’m aware of catastrophic lithium battery failures such as “thermal runaway,” which is an industry standard term for battery fires. However, besides the lack of support from the nook’s sellers, I still like its size, esthetics, interface, and have a substantial e-library, all before I upgraded to kindle. Therefore, I still have an interest to keep my nook alive. So, I searched and found two things. A DIY vid and Portatronics. They not only had the battery available, but also the correct tools that even the DIY videographer didn’t. This made for a quick and clean replacement that left no scratches or broken pieces. So, now I have a good device again with a new lease on life, till I can figure out how to transfer my nook library to my Kindle. Thank you Portatronics.

Pavel was easy to work with and has a customer first attitude. If you need a computer phone or tablet repaired, prices are fair and attitude is always upbeat.
Their procedure is of the most honest of repair shops I have been to . And they do a really great job. I agreed to give them a recommendation as they recovered my files so quickly and literally saved my life and job. And Moses reassured me right away. He knew I was stressed but he stayed calm and reassuring. He kept saying: "no worries I got this". And he actually did.
This is what I call a small and new company with amazing potential. They really know how to make the customer satisfied. They reassured me right away that they will repair the laptop within the same day. 2hrs later, they called me to tell me that my computer was ready for pick up. The computer has not been acting up since.
Small company and small office. They know how to repair computers and phones really well. The service quality is excellent. They really believe in representing the customer's interest.
amazing quick fast turn around fixed my iphone in no time , great service easy to get to friendly staff
Product worked fine (ordered through amazon), but their customer service makes it worth going somewhere else. I echo what other buyers have wrote! Horrible company to do business with. They go out of their way to be rude. They are sarcastic and unhelpful. Easily the worst company I have done business with in 2016 hands down.
Best places to fix Apple devices such as MacBook, iMac, iPad or iPhone. They do data recovery too. I was so happy to find these guys. It's mainly because they only take care of Apple Devices. It's quite difficult these days to find a dedicated place like this. People run business all mixed up. They are located between 41st and 42nd St on 5th Ave and you need to go upstairs 6 floor. Cold and warm water served. Nice couch to take rest. I had my iPhone 6S fixed while I was waiting. They just fixed it in about 25 minutes. Hope it helps anyone looking for a dedicated Apple device service shop in midtown Manhattan.
Went here without any type of expectation or any. After having my laptop repaired, I can't believe how much it improves in terms of functionality. Really awesome.
The repair guy is so good I would bring my other defective laptops here in the future! I would convince my friends to visit this repair shop.
