Dr. Pedre is a kin, caring and knowledgable physician who is always spot-on about diagnosing and treating me. He is soft-spoken and kind and his staff is great. His modern, Asian-inspired office is zen-like and very calming. You can't go wrong with Dr. Pedre!

Dr. Pedre is not like your usual (New York) doctor. He actually spends time with you (as much as you need) and actually listens and helps find an appropriate solution that you're comfortable with. He has never been in a rush to move patients through, and is in no rush to push drugs, either. Quite the contrary, I have spoken with him about the peddling that goes on in the industry and he actively avoids those ""dinners"" that all the other doctors go to. He will prescribe when needed, but is always looking for the best remedy wherever/however it can be found. He almost doubles as a therapist, he's so attentive with problems, however small. What more could you ask for? I continue to recommend him...

Dr. Pedre has been my primary doctor now for over 7 years. I have recommended him to numerous friends and family members, all of whom agree his insight, professionalism, considerate, effective, and responsive style make him one of the best out there. Before discovering him (he was originally recommended to me by a trusted friend) I had spent years frustrated by the lack of care, depth, and humanity most new york doctors apparently lack. Do yourself a favor and give Dr. Pedre a shot. He is the best, and I continue to recommend him to everyone I know.

The reviewer above should check his facts because I find it hard to believe he saw Dr. Pedre as the review is totally out of character. Dr. Pedre is a certified Physician on the teaching staff of Mt. Sinai. He is accredited in acupuncture as well. His manner is courteous and professional. Go to his website if you require an in depth perspective on his practice. I've been seeing him for years and know many of his patients who have nothing but good to say about a unique doctor who blends the best of the West and the East. Contemplative and Caring.

Dr. Pedre initially saw me for a total of 4-5 minutes prior to proclaiming a diagnosis and starting the treatment. After I asked some very basic questions about how he reconciles his western medical practice with acupuncture he gave me an attitude and a vague answer that sounded like a typical paragraph from a chinese acupuncture text. No mention how he actually puts it together with western medical approach. He was clueless as to how current western scientific research backing up his acupuncture practice. It felt as if my few hours or research left me better informed than the doctor. Oh, by the way, his treatment did not make a dent in my problem - surprise. Just another acupuncturist disguising himself as a doctor!
My body is my temple and I believe in holistic healing, natural remedies, eating right, and excercising.
Finding a doctor who has those same values is very hard.
Dr. Pedre fits the bill - he is great, concerned about long-term results, and your over all well-being.
I highly recommend him (and have done so) to anyone looking for results to whatever ailment they have and guarantee results.
I am glad to add him to my healthy lifestyle regimen.
My co-worker recommended Dr. Pedre, and my life has changed tremendously since I've been under his care. I suffered from insomnia and my regular physician wanted to prescribe anti-depressants. However, I wanted to take a holistic approach, and after a few visits with Dr. Pedre, I've been sleeping peacefully! I highly recommend Dr. Pedre, he is the best, guaranteed!

In reviewing this site in order to send a friend a link to Dr. Pedre, I saw this comment about Dr. Pedre being moody. If a deep, inquisitive thinker is what someone reads as moody is a problem. Dr. Pedre is one of the best overall primary care and holistic MDs I have ever encountered. He has been my Dr. for over 10 years. If he moved out of NYC, I'd probably have to fly to him for treatment. We need more doctors like him in NYC -- who treat the whole person not just mask the symptoms.

I have been going to Dr. Pedre for almost two years now and he is an amazing doctor. Unlike a previous post my experience with him has been A+++++. He is always kind and courteous and answers all of my questions. His staff is great and the office itself is clean and zen like. This is far from your typical primary care office and I would reccommend him to anyone.

Dr. Pedre is an outstanding physician. He provides competent and thorough care to all of his clients. He is soft-spoken, kind and very friendly. I referred several of my co-workers to him who were equally pleased. The office is very clean and the staff are courteous. In addition, I am able to get appts. right away and when I go to the office, i do not have to wait long to see the doctor. Any referrrals that he provides for me are to offices with equally outstanding service. I am somewhat selfish about writing this review because I wouldn't want to overburden his office. However, You can't do any better than Dr. Pedre!!!!

Dr Pedre has for the past year and a half provided wonderful care for me. He's highly attentive, concerned, well informed, and committed to his clients' health. I would recommend him to anyone. He's young, with a growing practice, and I hope as it grows he'll be able to sustain the level of involvement he now offers. Another point: he is without the dismissiveness and condescension I have often seen in this profession.
