I absolutely love this spot man! Good drinks, good music, and hot guys. What more can a girl ask for? If you're a guy don't worry there are hot girls there too.

i was at Baruch for 5 years and been to tonic many times and Mike made this Tuesday feel like a Friday. Ups to Mike who is the best bartender I've ever had.

Unbeatable happy hour. Starts at 11am and goes to 8pm. Three floors (including a great rooftop) offer a huge selection of beer on tap. The food is also very tasty for a bar and portions are great too. Very mixed crowd is nice so you never get too bored with the people who go there. The wait staff is also very pleasant. Very cool chill place to go to for drinks!

like a prehistoric tribe of guidos hocked up on moose hormon

alright bar, terrible staff

i read a lot of these reviews about the hostile staff memebers and thought- well it cant be that bad... boy was i wrong! i personally had no problems but witnessed several altercations take place between patrons and the bouncer- even patron and the batender- how does a BARTENDER get into a fight with bar goers? the music and atmosphere is alright, however and IF i happended to be in the area and decided that i was really parched at the moment i may give this house of cretans a try- but enter at your own risk!

welcome to the jungle- completely barbaric staff, stay away!

if you read all the other reviews, youll see that they basically echo the same sentiments as mine- the bouncers and owner were exteemly obnoxious and malignant , not very shy about roughing people up for no good reason- im glad they didnt put their hands on me! those guys were like 300 pounds each!!

Disgusted. The bouncers and owner are on a serious power trip and do not respect their customers. Let's keep in mind that the CUSTOMERS are the ones who pay the bills and keep your business running. They forcefully & when I mean forcefully (put in a headlock, drop kicked, shoved) out customers this past weekend regardless if you were a guy or girl, They are animals that to say the least might need to step away from the steroids. Will never go back & hope no one does as well.

Good Times

Came to Tonic with a group of friends for dinner and drinks. Its your typical pub food, which was good. People and bartenders were all very friendly, rooftop had awesome ambience and music was good. Only compliant is the selection of the happy hour drinks and the happy hours did not apply to the rooftop. All-in-all a good time with good friends.

I love going to tonic. I am a huge fan of the music videos that play on the TVs all night. The bar tenders are awesome. Definitely a great place to go with friends.

Just plain not nice

Stayed on this block with friends and thought we would check out tonic one night. Looked like a fun crowd. The three of us went up to the second floor to find the roof top rented out to a private party. Ok no biggie, the girl at the stairway was nice and said the party would be over soon. We went into the bar area of the second floor and got drinks, they were good, reasonable priced.
We sat only to get yelled it, in a very sturdy tone by the waitress, that it was her section and to get up and move cause this was her table service area. We were just about to order another round when this occured. If she would have explained nicely, we would have ordered from her and tipped her. Needless, to say, we thought was a nasty and we wont be back. The place was not packed and there wasn't anyone waiting for those seats. We went to the other end of the block and drank an Irish Pub the rest of the night - had a big tab and pad a very nice waitress a big tip - too bad the waitress and tonic lost out on that.
