I arranged a birthday party for my girlfriend who was turning 22 this month at The Hill. We were promised a table without bottle requirements or a fee. When we arrived, we were met with a nice hostess who quickly sat us at our table. The Hill delivered everything as promised. It was nice to get that at a bar for a change.
I found this place last Friday night, when wandering around Murray Hill looking for some good music. Their DJ was playing all top 40 music, which is what I like. There was no cover, and a decent sized dance floor. Next time I'm in that hood, I'll be stopping by. Also, looked like there were a bunch of birthday parties going on. So maybe I will look into that too, when the time is right.
I came to The Hill last Friday the 18th to celebrate my birthday event. I found the staff and event planner to be extremely accomodating. They were able to provide me with a complimentary table and champagne. Also, we had a group of about 16 people, half guys, half girls. There was no issue coming in, so I didn't have to have a hassle at the door.
Had my bday party here this past Friday. My group of 25 got there around 10:30. We were greeted with a friendly doorman and hostess who showed us to our table and gave me a few complimentary drink tickets. Place was pretty busy but there was still room to move and the music was really good. Very top 40, which is what I wanted to hear. I was later surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne from the bar. Overall, we had a great time.
I had my bday party at The Hill this past Friday and was very happy with the way everything went. I was able to book a table without having to buy bottles, there was no issue for my guests to come in the door, and drinks were reasonably priced, plus the music was awesome. I'll hopefully be doing again here next year.
I booked my girlfriends birthday party event here on Friday. The place was a blast. The DJ rocked and there was lots of room on dance floor for her and her gf's to dance. The booking process was extremely easy, and I didn't have to guarantee any minimums. Def my favorite spot in the Murray Hill hood.
I was at the Hill this past weekend for my friend Joe's birthday party. We had some table seating with a super hot waitress. I tried hard, but couldn't get her number. I usually try to avoid Murray Hill, however, I went anyway for my friend. This bar was definetely cool and did not disappoint. The music was great, and the staff was super friendly. This doesn't necessarily change my mind about Murray Hill, but I know next time i'm in that neighborhood, this is the bar I will hang out at.

Absolutely love this place! First off I live in Murray Hill, and let me just say I absolutely love this restaurant! Not only can I go their to watch the games with my boyfriend, but the food is actually good! I've never been to a sports bar type of place where the food is actually good!
Amazing service, and reasonably priced! Will definitely be going back there again.
I was referred to the Hill by their management company which also apparently runs the Ainsworth as well. When I couldn't get a reservation to watch the game at the Ainsworth they suggested I try the Hill and I'm really glad I did! It is just like the Ainsworth but smaller. They have a really great thing going there with their upstairs area for private events and the food! The food is so great and the service is amazing. The Hill was a great experience all around.
The Hill is a great venue. They are very accomodating and the food is great. The way they handle their reservations is a little wacky but totally worth it in the end. I'd highly recommend the wings and All In Mondays... $20 bucks, all you can eat and drink wings and beers... SOLD!
The Hill has an amazing selection of appetizers to choose from and that just happens to be my favorite part of a meal. I'd recommend you try the hummus, spinach dip, and the chicken fingers for sure. Everything I've had at the Hill has been great and the service is great as well. It is personally a little small for my taste but it is New York.
Get into the Hill ASAP for some quality food and drinks. They've got an amazing happy hour and some killer food. I love the asian chicken salad from there I have to get it almost every time. The staff is super friendly and it is a very loungy relaxing environment. They have a bunch of TVs so if you want to watch a sporting event, this seems like a great place to go.
This is a small little place you may not have heard of before but it certainly packs a punch! They have a great upstairs area for entertaining, which you would definately want to do after eating here! They have great dishes from hummus to chicken teriyaki. If you've never been you should go!!!
So I am a massive fan of sangria, and one of my girls told me that The Hill had this amazing sangria that I had to try.
When I went to The Hill, I was in love with the atmosphere. It wasn't what I was expecting at all, but I liked the decor and the relaxing environment.
When I tried the famous, white coconut sangria, my mind was blown! I couldn't believe I had gone all these years without ever trying it!!
If you love sangria-The Hill is the place for you and you MUST try the coconut sangria!
I usually go to The Hill for a burger or a drink, but my wife wanted to go later on a weeknight for some dessert. Although I am not really a dessert kind of guy, I tried their brownie and it actually was really good! My wife split it with me and also got the orange dream drink. By the end of her second one, I knew we had discovered our new late night spot because my wife never likes anything that much.

If you need something to do on the weekend that's a little different...take a few of your friends to The Hill. Then this is what you are going to do:
Order the fondue! It's so good and can feed from 4-6 people. It's something fun to do with a group of people that most of my friends don't usually do on a normal basis.
Try to go on a night like Wednesday when it's $3 champagne all night long because your friends will get a good buzz and the check won't be ridiculously high!
I'm telling ya, The Hill, with its fondue and plenty of drinks and TV's is solid entertainment for hours.
