My experience at The borrow group was amazing. I got back into taking acting classes and this is the first place that I seen on the Internet. The ball group taught me the acting is just doing and not acting. We’re trying to portray these people As real people whenever we get a breakdown and being at the bar group taught me to just do and not think, just let it happen. I would recommend for everyone that is beginner that doesn’t know where to start to go to the barrow group. I did the online classes because I did not live in New York, but I’m pretty sure whether you’re online or in person you’ll have an amazing experience and will continue to take classes from the Borrow group! Lol I will be back whenever their beginners part two online classes is available!

The Barrow is the place to study the craft of acting for any level of experience whether you are a beginner or a professional. The technique taught by all of the teachers is clear, logical, fun and uses the actors unique imagination and humanity.

I had a great experience in the Beginner I two-week intensive. Zsuzska was a fantastic teacher who made our entire group feel supported and comfortable!

So far, I have taken 3 classes at the Barrow Group, and all of them have been fantastic! I took Professional Scene Study with Level I with Brian and the 1-Year Professional Program with Seth and Lee, and I am currently in Lee's Master Class.

The Barrow Group is stellar and unlike any other acting training I've experienced. In terms of techniques, we are taught tools that help us let go of our pre-conceived ideas about a character's thoughts, feelings, and personality traits so that we can be fully present and responsive in the moment. In terms of the school's culture, it is unlike so many other learning environments. The teachers model an entirely judgment-free zone, and students are invited to share their observations about what was "different" (not better or worse) between the first "go" and second "go".

The Barrow Group truly loves and respects artists, enabling them to learn and grow in safety, connection, and collaboration. I cannot recommend it enough!

My experience so far with the Barrow Group has been wonderful. From the very first class, I felt comfortable and encouraged. Their philosophy in general is great, and it was cool to see simple suggestions opening up my classmates and turning their performances into richer and more
moving experiences for everyone in the room. I’m excited to continue on to the next level.

Taking class at The Barrow Group is a beautiful, meaningful experience. I just finished my first acting class there and immediately signed up for a second one. I never really understood what acting could be, how enjoyable it could be, how capable of it I could be, until this class. I love it and recommend it for anyone considering it. You don't have to know anything to learn a lot; I know this because I didn't really know anything and I learned a lot! They helped me understand what acting is and can be, and it became immediately accessible to me. 5 out of 5 stars. Infinite stars, really!

I recently took an on-camera acting class and I really appreciated the hands-on approach. It allowed me to practice in front of others and receive valuable feedback. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this class is a great investment for anyone looking to improve their acting abilities!

I recently took TBG's two-week intensive Beginner Acting I class with Quinn and it was awesome! Quinn is a great instructor, and the community at The Barrow Group is super kind and supportive. My class was a nice size and everyone showed up ready to engage.

Highly recommend this class or one of their others if you're interested in exploring acting. I've signed up for another class already :)
