If you're a steak lover, you must check this place out! The meat is cooked to perfection. You order medium-well, they bring you medium-well. You order rare-medium, they bring you rare-medium. You..., you get the point. 5 stars by default. I wish you could rate them higher.

I read the reviews before going and they seemed split. 50/50 with loving it and not loving it. I am a foodie and eat in all types of places from DDD's to 5 star restaurants all over the country. This place is pedestrian as one person mentioned in their review. The atmosphere is a bit loud but if that's what you want it's good. The food is just average and frankly I wouldn't pay top dollar for average food.

Came to this club on a Friday at a suggestion of a local. It was my college roomate's 40th birthday and she felt extra special as we were able to move up the line thanks to some young guy with a VIP table. The night was fun until the end of the night when we closed out our tab. Understanding that NYC is know for it's expensive cocktails, I signed out my bill and was on my way. It wasn't until the following Monday I noticed I was charged twice from my account, once without the tip and the a second time for the entire bill plus the tip removing almost $200 from my account. When I called the number provided someone said they would look into and never got back to me, I'm still waiting for my money to be returned. This is bad buisness as it's a form of robbery. I'm hoping by the end of the work day today for my funds to be returned including the tip. Terrible and sheisty!!! BE CAREFUL! I will be extra cautious at any club and more often use cash!!

We are visiting from CA, and decided last Thursday to follow the concierge's advice and go to Tenjune. The line was long, it was cold and the door is really tough. The concierge at our hotel was really good and he gave us the contacts of this guy Erez who works for the club, and so we called him up. This guy met us outside, put us on the guest list, and before you know it we cut through the 30 minute line straight into the VIP area!!! . we had a BLAST and partied till 6am!
Erez took us to a different club every night for a week and had the same deal!!!
the best you'll ever get about nyc night life: friend erez on facebook and find out what he can offer you. his name is erez j dimant.

This place was very good. The ambiance is really cool for a steak place. The food was great but the drinks were even better. I really enjoyed it here. We were here for my and my husbands 30th anniversary and I couldn't have asked for more. The waiter was great and it really made our night spectacular.

On every big holiday, STK proves to be one of the most sought after NYC venues to celebrate at. And this Halloween will be no different! STK has always been well-known for its ability to create an environment of exclusivity. Couple that with the sexiest and most sinful night of the year and you're in for one HELL of a night!
Tickets are on sale now at TIXorTREAT. com. Contact us for Table Reservations and Group Discounts. Happy Halloween!!!

I came here with a few girlfriends for a nice night out, and STK totally delivered. We split a few appetizers, an entree, and sides. We absolutely loved the crab salad, the shrimp rice krispies, beef short ribs, and the mac and cheese. We were stuffed, and so happy with everything. The service is great, and the decor is swanky. This place is great for a birthday, anniversary, or anytime you want to treat yourself!

I've been to Tenjune many times. Recently I also went to SL, the newer club owned by the same owners. They also own the club @ W Hoboken. 2 things worthy of note:
1) If you buy a drink at the bar and use a credit card to pay for it, they will run the amount of the drink price you owe PLUS 20 %. Many establishments do that but here is the kicker. THE RECEIPT WILL NOT NOTE THIS AND THERE WILL BE A LINE FOR TIP. Unsuspecting customers will pay the usual 15 to 20% and they will end up with 35% TO 40% TIP ON TOP OF THE PRICE OF THE DRINK WHICH IS OVERPRICED TO BEGIN WITH!!!! THIS IS FRAUD. THEY ARE NOT MAKING IT TRANSPARENT TO THE CUSTOMER THAT A 20% TIP HAS BEEN ADDED.
2) If you purchase a bottle as I have done on many a occasion, they will charge the price of the bottle and 20% gratuity which is fair as it is made transparent before you buy. THEY WILL TACK ON A 4.5% FEE FOR MANAGEMENT SERVICES-TOTALLY BOGUS FEE ON THE BACK END-ALSO FRAUDULENT AS NEVER MADE TRANSPARENT. This can be rather large as amounts for ordering bottles can add up to thousands of dollars.
EUGENE REMM AND MARK BIRNBAUM SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR RIPPING OF UNSUSPECTING PAYING CUSTOMERS. THEY SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR SUCH PRACTICES AND INDEED THE NY STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT THIS. This practice holds true for all 3 of their establishments.....

The restaurant has such an amazing hip nightlife atmosphere. You are not sure if you are having dinner or are at a club. The big bouncer outside the door definatly gives off that impression but I loved it. The food was incredible, if you go definatly have the parmesan truffle fries (amazing) & the drinks were great (not watered down like in some places). The service was good and overall 5 in my book.

I had my boyfriend's 30th birthday at Tenjune and couldn't be happier. We called in advance to reserve a table for a group of 10. The reservationist was really helpful. When we arrived the hostess made sure our group was escorted right in without waiting on line. Our waitress made sure we had enough liquor on the table all night. Overall...it was a great place to have a party for a small group.

Was visiting Manhattan this past weekend and went to STK on Friday evening for dinner with a few friends. We had late dinner reservations at 10pm and were seated promptly, but it's definitely tight quarters. I honestly believe that no matter what time you have reservations, this place is going to be working at capacity.
The atmosphere is great, very chic and full of beautiful people, so if that's something you're interested in, you won't be disappointed. There is a lot going on here and music is fairly high volume, but wasn't overwhelming to the point where you couldn't talk to those at your table or around your table.
The food is excellent. Great steaks and the sides are fantastic. Since it was a late lunch, and we were on a mission to go out afterward, I stuck to the extremely fair priced small skirt steak and haricot verts. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly and not a bad size. The haricot were crisp and had great flavor. I also tried the mac and cheese which was fantastic.
Our server, Brianne was good but I think that the waitresses and waiters don't really have much contact with their patrons. She took the order, came back maybe once throughout the meal and then brought check. I'm guessing that's to ensure a quicker turnover, but at no point did we feel rushed.
Will be back, great time!

My wife and my bro and his GF decided to go to STK last week for dinner. We are native New Yorkers and we always frequent great restaurants. We visited the STK in Las Vegas and had a blast. Unfortunately the one in NYC wasn't as eventful. The food was ok but the service was horrible. If your spending alot of money for dinner, I expect to be pampered and feel special. This place is suppose to be top notch and service plays a big part in the whole experience. Sadly were stuck with a server who would rather not be there and cares more about her next audition then she did serving us.
Also the food portions are awful.. if your spending that much for a steak, it should be a big size. The website claims ""this aint your daddy's steakhouse"" At least at Peter Lugers or Ben and Jacks or Palm you leave stuffed!!
Bottom line its the meat packing district, Its everything you expect.
Go elsewhere!!! Your wallet will thank you!!!

This is the hottest place in town. I love going here with all my friends. Yes its extremely pricey. But you pay for location no matter where you go. Foods so so, but if you want to go somewhere fancy or take your freinds and family out. Perfect place. I've been to the one in vegas, but i personally prefer this location more.
Pretentious!! --Its one thing to be trendy but lets keep it real. How about enough light to read the small print on the menu. There are no salt and pepper shakers on the tables since all the food is overly salted and pepered..Yes, the side dishes all have a twist or shall i say twisted. Like Mac and 4 unknown cheses. The steaks are just pedestian. You order desert just so you don't leave hungrey. Disgrace to the meat packing disttrict.
This Restaurant is nothing but a scene with bouncers pushing people around.
Saturday nite dinner reservations for a week at 930 pm, for a birthday dinner then had plans to meet friends across the street and AJNABAR at 12.
Stk had us waiting 1 hour and 30 mins. Which was completely rude!! I asked several times the status of table? Knowing we are waiting so long... not even a comp drink to relieve the stress!!! So we left and had Dinner at AJNA BAR across the street, they sat us immediately and served us quickly!! AJNA BAR is very delicious and Knocks STK out the park!!!!
