Logan did a fantastic job of transforming an old crappy mistake I've had on my back for years. He is such an amazing artist with a down to earth and peaceful charm to him.
I highly recommend him. Now I'm craving to go back for a totally new piece of art :)
Logan is the best tattoo artist I've ever worked with and will be the only artist that I'll ever have tattoo me. He is an A class person as well. He is not only talented but thoughtful, patient and understanding. He completed a half sleeve dedicated to my children and listened to everything that was important to me. The result was a gorgeous piece that i couldn't be happier with. He truly cared about me as a person, not just a customer. He is well booked but well worth any wait. You will NOT be disappointed.
I don't live in the city (I live about 2000 miles away), but I researched Logan and found him friendly and welcoming, especially in light of his coveted position in the world of ink. Celebrated for his photorealism, he should also be celebrated for a warmth of spirit that transcends the artist-customer interchange - he made me feel like a friend, even though I came from a small town so far away and my expectations were nebulous, only finalizing in the last moments of his (perfectly translated) pen-strokes. Logan is imminently likable and doesn't judge. I love how well he captured the elephant lurking in me. The work he did on my back is amazing. I'm pissed off that more people aren't asking me to show them the work he did, and I can't wait to get my husband in for his first tat with Logan!

Logan is absolutely amazing. I recently went to him to get my first tattoo and was looking for something realistic, colorful, and original. If you're looking for a quick pick from a handout of pre-drawn tattoos, go elsewhere, because this man is a true artist. I got it on one of the supposedly most painful spots (side ribcage) and not only was he gentle, but I felt completely at ease. The hour I spent there felt like 15 minutes. He listened to everything I wanted and gave me a one of a kind, beautiful piece that I know I'll love forever. About a week after getting it done, I was interested in having him add to a few spots and he booked me a new appointment within a week.
If you're looking for a great experience, whether it's your first tattoo or your fiftieth, he's hands down the man to go to.

My parents are both gone and I wanted to get a back piece in their memory. I went to a local shop in Suffolk County and showed him a photo. The outline was okay but when it came to coloring it in that guy got it all wrong.
We went to Logan and asked if he could fix what was done. Not only did Logan fix the first guy's work, he finished the back piece so that no one notices the screw up. Logan understood what I wanted and I truly believe he cared; that he cared how I felt and what the tattoo symbolizes for me. Logan found the most awesome colors for my back piece and transformed it into something I show off whenever I can.
Shortly after he finished my back piece I went back to Logan to have him do an original piece. I showed him a picture for concept and he ran with it. He suggested black and grey and several hours later I had an amazing bit of Logan's art on my body.
I don't know if I like the mind game I play with myself to keep back the pain when getting drilled but whatever the cost of pain, its worth it.
You need to have a consult with Logan for your next piece. You will be totally thrilled, blown away and awe struck when he is done.
I'm looking forward to my next tattoo by Logan but my hubby has a portrait appointment with Logan first. ::jealous::

I rarely write reviews. I reserve writing them for people who truly deserve acknowledgement for how incredible they are. Logan is one of these people.
Without going into excessive detail I came to Logan with an idea of a tattoo I wanted based off of getting through an extremely difficult year. I knew Logan through my friend who had gotten several tattoos done by him and I already knew that his artwork was beyond the best. His work is so flawless I often questioned if I was looking at a tattoo or a painting. The talent that he has is unparalleled.
Not only did Logan give me the most spectacular tattoo that I am proud to have on my body forever, he also makes the experience enjoyable and personal. He instantly puts you at ease and helps make the more painful moments (mine was on the ribs) much more pleasant. I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism and expertise. If you want to have something more than just a tattoo then go to Logan. He gave me one of the biggest gifts I've ever received in my life. He effortlessly helped me to move on to a new beginning and gave me a phenomenal permanent reminder that life is constantly changing and evolving and that it is a beautiful thing.

I met Logan back in mid 2010 where i came to him with 5 very different life events that I wanted brought to life in a black and white sleeve. Taking those ideas he detailed a great nautical 'old man and the sea"" theme. Since it's been done, I've been stopped 100's of times asking me who did this and what amazing detail...
He is so good, that we're currently working on my second sleeve ""evolution""

I recently went to see Logan to fix a mermaid tattoo that's a few years old. All I had were very abstract ideas about shading, background, and the ambiance I wanted to create. After discussing our initial thoughts for the piece, I realized that I wasn't talking to a typical tramp-stamp, zodiac sign tattoo artist. Logan is incredibly passionate about all of his work. Unlike other business-minded artists, Logan's work bleeds integrity. He is still very much present in all of his pieces, and is not willing to compromise quality in order to make a few bucks.
After our conversations, Logan was able to execute an absolutely stunning ocean sketch on my arm. I wasn't completely sure what I wanted the piece to look like until I saw it. He obviously listened to everything I said, because the sketch was perfect.
I still have about 8 hours of coloring left to do-and I absolutely can't wait. I am so in love with it already...it's going to be AMAZING!

I found Logan on the Internet Time Out mag rated him one of the best in New York City. I went to his web site and found his work incredible . I was not looking for just another tattoo.I wanted body art. So I went to see him in his shop in the East Village. I told him that I was looking for a tattoo that would symbolize my love for my wife. He took all my ideas and when I came back to get inked he had it layed out beautifully. The piece was more than what I had expected and my wife loved it so much she called and thanked him. It brought tears to her eyes. Logan is truly gifted .
