Spin City Rip-Off Artists - STAY FAR AWAY

This place should get ZERO Stars.

Their bill change machine ate my $20 around 7:45 on 1/26/11. They accused me of lying. Now I have neither my $20 or my laundry done. They are trying to tell me the machine only had a $10 in it. Too bad I can show them a receipt where I took a $20 out of their ATM and put it DIRECTLY in that machine.

My household regularly spends over $100 a month with laundry and dry-cleaning at Spin City. They can go ahead and steal my $20 because that business will no longer go to their slimy, digusting hands.

A HUGE middle finger to you Spin City. I hope you go out of business.

Have fun dealing with the Better Business Bureau.

*****Let me edit my review to say after I took my boyfriend (they recognized him) with me, the tune suddenly changed to ""a misunderstanding"" and I got my $20 back. Funny when they called me a liar to my face not an hour before. The review can stay, That is not the way to treat your customers.

girls dangerous! predatory by delivery guy, no one else has complained?

i have been sexually harassed by 1 of the pick up delivery guys who graphically described what he wanted to do to me. i live alone & i lied to him saying my huge raging boyfriend is coming home so he doesnt think i live alone. he continued to eye my body up and down & commented on all of my anatomy & what he wanted to do to it while i packed the the bag, prodded with relentless questions what do i want from, stuck in my studio with no where to go. he had no intention on leaving, i told him to get the f*ck out, he took my bag, i grabbed my ticket, slammed the door in his face. in order to get my laundry back i had a large male friend come by to let him know i wasnt living alone, even though my friend said he'd get the bag & bring it over, i thought it was safer to let the delivery guy know i did in fact have a male in the house. a different delivery person delivered my stuff & i felt defeated b/c this creepy guy didn't get the picture.

i told the cashiers yesterday about this, months later. letting months go by was to avoid stress and the possible disappointment noone cares. however, after mentioning it to my current male partner he encouraged me it was the right thing to do to alert the company, so i did.

a man & a woman were working the registers & figured out who i was complaining about to by the time on my ticket & who was working, they were kind, sorry & appreciative in case he messes with other girl customers.

i went back today to find out what they did about it. the creepy delivery guy & the one male cashier changed his tune, stared at the floor when i came in, delivery guy stared at me, we all argued. the cashier pretended at first to have no memory of my complaint, the delivery guy quickly got busy finding his way to the door after exclaiming he doesnt know me. the cashier said, sorry, we dont believe you. i look around & the delivery guy had run half a block away. i spoke all this loud & clear so every customer could hear. girls, do not go there.

I have been going to this cleaners for about 2 years. I had loved their service. It all started during the summerwhen they runied my shirt. The manager Peter refused to pay for the top. He said it was not their fault. I should not have put it in the laundry. I was furious but the shirt was not that expensive, so I decided to keep giving them my business.

TODAY!!! My duvet cover is runined. I was told to put anything in a separate bag if i want it washed in a separate machine. This is what I did but they washed it together anyway. I spoke with the manager Peter(again) & he said they were not responsible. I did not put any indication on the bag. I told the person that picked up the laundry, he said it was fine. I asked what him what he can do. He said there was nothing he can do & it was my fault, AGAIN!! This is the WORST customer service I have ever encountered!!! I asked to speak with the owner & he said the owner was not there & was not allowed to give me the owner's information. I asked for their store license number & he said no. If I wanted the number then, I would have to go in and get it. I will & forward it to the Business Bureau. I checked out their website & his name Peter!! is on it. He is the one I have to go to! The duvet cover is $200!! He said I shouldn't have put something so expensive to wash & fold! How ridiculous does that sound?!? I asked to pay for damages & he said they do not cover that. I am so frustrated!!
