I just wanted to show my great appreciation for the diligent and excellent emergency disk repair and data recovery Sherlock Data Recovery performed on my recently crashed WesternDigital WD-2500BEKT 250GB
hard drive. I was able to retrieve my word and power point presentations off of it and save myself months of time re-doing those files.
I do not understand how anyone could say anything like the guy who wrote that hateful review below but my research shows Sherlock Data Recovery also known as Atomic Bytes is a Seagate Certified Partner and anyone seeing this review can check it out. I365 is a Seagate company that does its own data recovery and they send many hard drives to Sherlock Data Recovery for service and Sherlock's prices for logical data recovery which my recovery happened to be are incredibly cheap.. Its no wonder their competition is putting up these hateful messages. If you read between the lines you can see this is a competing data recovery guy giving an awful review. This kind of practice is very bad for the internet and the economy.
I can tell you to take your equipment to Sherlock Data Recovery because they are the most decent data recovery company I ever dealt with and their service is excellent.
I believe in facts so go check out the facts first before you believe some person like hateful reviewers below.
Also there are video testimonials from satisfied customers. That is how good Sherlock Data Recovery is at recovering data from a hard drive. If you have vital data you need today not having to redo your many hours of work go see Sherlock Data Recovery.

I highly recommend Ephraim and Sherlock Data Recovery Services!
I had just saved my important briefs and attorney comments for my office when my HP laptop computer at home died with disk errors. When I turned it off and on I got error messages:
No disk media available messages.
I needed to be ready the next day or face possible fines from the Judge. I borrowed my wife's laptop and searched the web for a laptop disk repair guy in New York and found Sherlock Data Recovery. I viewed the testimonial videos on-line and decided to give him a call.
It was a Sunday late afternoon. I got him on the phone and he explained how he worked. I raced over with the drive. To my surprise and delight early Monday morning I got a call that my disk was fully recovered. The hard drive was bad and needed to be replaced, however, the files were transfered to another drive and Ephraim sold me a replacement hard drive for $45 to replace the bad drive and also returned the old drive which I threw out.
My laptop is now working again, all my files were recovered and I met my deadline.
Ephraim's rates were reasonable.
Thank You Ephraim!
I was desperate to fix my laptop which was constantly rebooting.
It was one of those Dell AMD Inspiron laptops. I tried to copy the data off the disk but it rebooted too fast. I had an important meeting that day early in the morning. Desperate I looked up laptop disk recovery and new york and tried several other data recovery places but I got voice mail messages. Then I tried Sherlock Data Recovery. I got through immediately to a human being, which I am sorry to say is all too often less common these days. After telling my story they told me at 11pm to bring the laptop in and was I surprised. They rushed to get get my laptop ready the next morning. I left the diagnostic fee I was asked to do and I left their office to get some much needed sleep. The Next morning 3 hours before my meeting I was told my laptop is fixed and I could come by to pick it up now. I was so happy to hear that I raced to pick up the laptop and checked to see if I lost any data especially my presentation slides which were sadly not backed up anywhere else and they were completely there plus the unit no longer rebooted and the charge was $150 as the recovery turned out to be a logical type data recovery. Oh and I got this cool USB drive with my presentation data that I requested. I was so happy. I came there for an emergency data recovery and got a backup of my data as well as a working laptop!
I really do not know what I would have done without Sherlock Data Recovery. I had
This guy really knows his technologies. Half the people out there today do not know MS-DOS 3.1 let alone
5 and quarter floppies. This guy not only knew these technologies. As far as I am concerned Ephraim is a miracle worker. He pulled my old MS-DOS data from oblivion. I had no backups and my business depends on the old DBASE 4 files contained on the disk. I am shocked to see the awful reviews in some of the other reviews here. This guy knew things all the other places I called did not and none of the other places I called would not even touch my old 16 year old Hard drive.
Ephraim was extremely nice and helpful. I got all my data back which I believe to be a miracle.
Heck yes I recommend him!

I'm a computer guy myself but when my harddrive stopped spinning, I knew it was really bad. Working with Ephraim was great. He diagnosed my crashed harddrive within the day and gave me an accurate assessment of what needed to be done. Within the week, he had everything fixed and all my data restored, approximately 40GB worth.
He worked extremely hard and performed the tasks for the agreed upon price. When you go to a data recovery company, you have no idea if they will try to hold your data hostage. Other companies may give you an estimate, work on your drive, then tell you it is going to cost you more. And if you try to go somewhere else, they may delete your data. So be careful wherever you go. But from my experience with Ephraim at Sherlock Data Recovery, he was honest and hardworking. His prices are very competitive and well worth it for the valuable data that you will get back.

I had a serious problem with my hard drive, which crashed in November, 2007. As the hard drive contained electronic books and many documents important to me it
was necessary to recover it at any cost.
I took it to all kinds of experts and none
of them could do anything about it, plus I even had to pay over $300 with little to show for it.
Through the diligent work of Ephraim Hirshberg of Sherlock Data Recovery Services, I have finally been able to recover most of the those vital files on my hard drive and my Dell Dimension has been restored to full working order through his repair service replacing my power supply and a memory card in the process.
