Unhelpful and rude despite NOBODY in the shop!

I went in to ask about changing the lens on my frames - despite having nobody in the shop, the guy there just wasn't interested in me as a customer, and was rude when I asked him to explain his pricing charges for different types of lenses (it was different from other opticians that I spoke to). How do businesses like this stay in operation in a city with so much competition?! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I enjoy the people who work here

I have been coming to Rivka for almost 20 years. Never had a problem with their staff and was always treated wonderfully. The optometrist was excellent and accurate. Love the place. It is a bit on the pricey side but as you see, I will always come back to them.

Not interested in customers! Avoid if you are looking for service/help

Went in to try to get new pair, after trying on a few was treated like i was wasting their time if didn't quickly make my selection. They weren't even busy with other customers, i was the only one in. Just had little patience and not interested in being helpful. Maybe its the cramped size of the place that makes them a bit squirrely about being there for the customer - especially when it comes to something you might end up wearing daily. Prices seemed steep - or just the usual high markup and then baited down with discounts. But didn't get a chance to really price because of the customer service issue. For that matter, what's the point of going to this store if one can't see the glases in hand / on face and probably get a better discount online? Me thinks they are confused. Good luck with this place.
