- Peter S. Kim, M.D. is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He received his B.A. from Cornell University and his M.D. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Kim completed his residency in Internal Medicine, having been selected as a chief medical resident, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He was the recipient of the prestigious John O. Vieta Award. He also received the Department of Medicine Award for Academic Excellence. Dr. Kim is an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and is actively involved in the teaching of medical students, interns, residents and GI fellows. He holds a faculty appointment at the New York University School of Medicine and is a Visiting Attending Physician at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Kim is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
