Worst Club In NYC

Had VIP Table service, except no service. Only saw our waitress once over 5 hours. The bar back did all the work. Management was awful and they apparently never talked to our waitress after we worked out the situation with 2 of them. Way overcrowded. They blocked access to the floors at times. We were on the top floor, went downstairs and were not allowed back to top floor where we had paid for a table, but we snuck by the dumb bouncers and got up there after all.

I DO NOT recommend.

Was Assaulted, Their Security did NOTHING!

I was Assaulted on Halloween of this year, by two other patrons and when I went to report it to their security, they did nothing, they did not give any effort to find them, the two guys were not even wearing Masks, and I gave great description of the Perps and what costumes they were wearing. I was punched several times by two of them and I received several bruises and a broken tooth as well as lost a TapOUT shoe and Bad BOY cap, by trying to run away from them. I was not able to defend myself because there were two of them, and they were much bigger than me. While I was getting hit several times, I ran to the Bar to seek help and even the Bar Maid did not even help, as I was screaming for help. Finally, when I got to the Security outside,in back of the club; because none of them were there when I was getting assaulted on the dance floor or near the bar, they finally attended to me.
When I requested the security to call the cops they did not, they claimed they will handle it, and I requested several times to call them and they did not call them, I was however seen by their EMT person, (given a Band-Aid and some ICE, ""Big Whop"" although he was Very Helpful and Attentive, ""they should have called an Ambulance"", but after that , the security people encouraged me to go home because they just did not want to help me, or do any effort to find them. There answer was ""It is a Crazy Night"" I wanted to say ""That's Your Answer for trying to find them? REALLY? Unbelievable! I now have a Scar above my nose and I had to get an Extensive Root Canal and a Crown for my front tooth, I am very upset by this!
When I went back to the club later that night (4:30 AM, because I heard they are open till 7 AM), to speak to the one of the managers, of which did not help, to ask if they found my hat and shoe, (Lost & Found Dept) and to see the status of my complaint , they were closing, one of their junior security people said in a SARCASTIC Manner, ""We did not find a TapOUT shoe, Your HAT or a Broken Tooth"" When I spoke with a Police Officer the next day to file a complaint, they claimed that This Club is known for drugs and other types of misbehavings and that ""they"" (CLUB) do not like when We go there because there is always problems. When I went to Community Board 4 to see if there are complaints about them, I had found various articles and complaints on file about this club, including the New York Post Online Edition. The hotel I stayed at said ""That club is known for problems"" and when I ran into another patron at the hotel who over heard my conversation He said the Friday before, there were several fights and problems. When I tell people what happened, to me, their response is "" What do you expect, many people are high on drugs there, it is known for drugs and problems.""This club is ""Today's"" SoundFactory; (Ironically same location) & Limelight which was known for drugs and problems that closed them down!
All in ALL, I LIKED going there, music was great, DJ''S were great, Until I was Assaulted!

Could be better

Went there last weekend. The balcony area was nice, you could see people dancing from up there.
The dancing area was pretty crowded, but fun. The small area downstairs wasn't any fun. The toilets are in the middle of a dancing crowd. Not very convenient. The dancing hall downstairs should be bigger.

Overhyped .... not worth paying a visit !!!!

This was my first visit to Pacha in NYC with my frnds. we had to pay an entry fee of $50 due some event at the club, which nobody knew really what the event was !!!

The drinks are way too costly here. Even a bottle of water is for 7 bucks.
Music played was techno, not that fun..... !!! Sounded like same music was being played over and over again.

The place was too much crowded.....! Its impossible to walk around with a drink in hand...and you are almost certain of spilling your drink on someone or yourself if you are that lucky !!!

and Beware..... lot of gals dancing around are trans-sexual males..... !!!! so watch out !!!

all and all, the placed seemed to me overhyped in NYC, I would suggest Webster would be better option ..if you are looking to have good time !!!

Phenomenal Night. Highly recommended.

So I was in new york for the weekend, and someone suggested that i try out the pacha. I am so glad i did. I got there a little bit early, there were only about 30 people on all the floors combined, so i just went down to the main dance floor and started drinking.

Around 1130 or midnight it really started getting busy there. Hundreds of people. Judge Jules was the DJ of the night for the dance floor, and he did a fantastic job. There was another dj on the floor below, but i didnt spend enough time down there to comment on it. As for the dance floor though. Amazing time. The music was loud, the music was hot. The crowd was very friendly. No one gets pissed if you bump into them or accidentally step on their feet while dancing. There are the ass-grabber people (I was one of them) but that comes with any bar/club environment. What can you expect when you get people drinking. This club seemed like a good place to go to hook up and have a good night, but beware: The guy to girl ratio is not equal at all. bout 70% males, 30% females. If you dont have game, you might not want to go for that reason.

But thats enough of that. Go to the club, decide for yourself. 30$ cover charge for guys though (not sure about the ladies). Personally, it was the best i've ever been to.

not so great- the guy at the door sucked

It is a pretty typical club. The space is not necessarily great. If you are looking for hardcore house dancing after 4am, this works. But I have been to better.

But the experience at the door was very annoying.
First the guy at the entry who is checking the IDs asked us to pay 40$ for each at 4 in the morning. We were a group of of 6 girls and 2 guys. Then my friend somehow managed to get a deal of 10$ per person after talking to another guy at the main entry. (double standard, unfair pricing)

I had a water bottle in my pocket and the guy at the door took the bottle off my pocket and threw it w/out even asking me to throw it . Then I told him, i want to drink it before I get inside as I am thirsty, He blackmailed me saying If I drink it, I am not getting in. So see another nobody w/a big power trip. I understand not letting the water in as I guess we are supposed to buy the overpriced water inside, but how dare he can dictate what I will drink before I get in. I did not say anything since most of my friends already got in and also it is known that people at the doors of this kind of clubs tend to enjoy their ""oh so important power of letting people in"" little too much.
But I dont want to support this business again by going there.

Fantastic spot, great dancing music, cool and attractive crowd

After having an unforgettable and fabulous night at Pacha Buenos Aires, I was eager to see what the New York club would have in store. I'm happy to say it did not disappoint. There's just something higher class, cleaner, and sexier feeling about this club than so many others. The DJ really feels out the crowd and always seems to be able to keep the energy level where it should be.

On another note, there is a site for singles launching in New York soon . . . actually looks kind of cool. It's like a dating site but for GROUPS - as in, people go out with their friends and meet up with other crews of friends. Double dates, triple dates, etc. It's called MIXTT (check it out - mixtt dot com).
