NY Dog Spa to the rescue!

A couple of years ago, shortly after losing partial sight, my dog developed separation anxiety. When I was unable to leave her home alone, NY Dog Spa came to the rescue!

Their daycare & friendly, supportive staff played an important role in helping to improve my dog's separation anxiety. She's made new friends & when necessary, now has a safe place away from home to play.

Separation anxiety can be a tough condition to treat, so it's incredibly comforting to know that if I ever need someone to care for her during those difficult times, Dog Spa is always there!

Many thanks!!!

P.S. And now when I travel, I board her there as well.

An Upper East Side dog owner's gem !

Tawny & Rusty have missed their weekly daycare visits to Dog Spa and will be absolutely ecstatic when they learn that they?ll be going back to Dog Spa on a regular basis starting in September! They absolutely LOVE spending the day here! Tawny literally drags me down the block when she realizes where we?re headed LOL

The handlers are awesome and do such a great job working with all of the various dog personalities. The front desk folks are also awesome and always very pleasant to deal with. The facility is very clean and my dogs never smell stinky after spending the day.

Another great aspect of Dog Spa is their very flexible hours (7 ? 10) which accommodate any hectic dog owner?s schedule.

Can?t wait to get back to Dog Spa !
5 paws up for Dog Spa !

Best dog groomers anywhere!

I can't believe how beautiful Sheba looked after her grooming. She is about ready to be groomed again and one of her bows is still in her hair.

I love this place and so does my little Maximilian! Whenever I pick up my puppy, he is never ready to leave. He gets to play and walk with other dogs and I know that the people at New York Dog Spa take great care of my boy. If I call, they let me know how he is doing and who he is playing with in his class (They seperate dogs based on size unless they are siblings)!

I have also had a puppy party at the 91st street location and everything ran so smoothly! All my guests had a blast. The owner is very accessible if you have any special requests and it is clear that they care about your dog's well being.

I have had some pretty upsetting experiences with other boarding my dog/ doggy day care placesand all I can say is

Kudos to the day care team

They did a great job making my pooch comfortable his first two times at day care. He had trouble adjusting when he would first get there. They went out of their way to may him happy, and it worked, ending with him playing with all the other dogs. He had a great time. Kudos to the team. The facilities are also very clean.

The best Doggie Daycare in the city!

Dog Spa and Hotel is by far my favorite and my puppy's favorite daycare! My puppy is so excited to go there and see all of his friends both human and K9 that he walks me there!

The staff at Dog Spa is not only friendly and polite but they are on top of things! They are also fantastic to my dog... what more could one ask for?!
They are clean! Very clean! Thank god!!! The space is very nice, the play space spacious with lots of room to run around, and the individual dog areas are very nice and quaint.
The feeding times for breakfast and dinner are perfect! 11am and 6pm. So my dog doesn't have to switch his feeding schedule around.

They really know what they are doing and how to take great care of all of the dogs.
My dog can't get enough of the place.

I give them 2 thumbs up and he gives them 4 paws up!

Worth commuting from Long Island

I've been using NY Dog Spa & Hotel for my dog's grooming for over five years now and I absolutely love them. The staff at the front desk is wonderful and I always look forward to seeing them when I drop Chloe off. I found them through google when my dog was a puppy, made an appointment, and my dog's first groom was with them - all by chance. Also by chance, our appointment was with Jorge and I've been using him ever since. I truly love him! Over the years, we've become friends and my whole family knows my groomer's name and they all look forward to seeing Chloe after her groom. He is a pleasure to work with, extremely talented and above all, very good to my dog. He is also very involved with animal charities and really loves what he does. We used to live in the city but moved out to Long Island 2 years ago and I still commute in just to get her groomed. Sounds crazy, but no one cuts Chloe like Jorge. I took her to another groomer once because I could not get to the city that month and the results were terrible. I couldn't wait to take her back to Jorge to be fixed. Overall, I highly recommend Dog Spa for all your dog's needs. I plan to continue to use them as long as Jorge lets us!

the only spa in town that I will leave my lovely pup

The owner is there all the time ( a dog owner 7 lover himself) and always has treats available. My dog and I had used another large daycare and the difference is night and day. Knowledgeable, courteous and reliable staff, clean open play space for the pups, good dogs and wonderful individualized day time activities and attention. I'll give you an example. One night I was so tired from work I literally couldn't walk to pick her up. I called the spa at 9 pm (they close at 10 pm) and the women said ""we can bring her home right now"". Thats a dog lover for you. If you want a happy dog and a relaxed owner- this is your spot. And less expensive than other places that don't preform half these wonderful services. Ok that's my spiel :)

Come see it!
