I started seeing Dr. Angrist month's ago after a bad sports injury. I've followed everything he has suggested and each day I wake up with less pain. He is an amazing doctor and I would recommend him to anyone!

i had some back problems and a friend told me to check this place out. I went in and it was magical. My back no longer hurts as much anymore and I come here often.

I am 24 and have 2 herniated discs from basketball that have been bothering me for 8 months. I have been to 2 different physical therapists and neither have helped. After having a surgical procedure on my liver, i woke to find my entire right rib cage locked. I wasnt able to move without vicodin and couldnt take a breathe without feeling like i was being stabbed. Dr. Stekel visted me and after the session i was 50% better. and withing a few days i was able to move and breather freely without painkillers.

As a chiropractor I have the inside scoop on who is good and who is great in Manhattan. I can tell you that Dr. Stekel is world class in his ability to create lasting health changes for people. I have seen in many of his patients' eyes that they feel the same about him.

Dr. Stekel really listened to my concerns, asked a lot of questions, educated me and gave me great guidance. This was a tremendous help to me when deciding on a healthful cleansing and weight-loss plan. Ive been seeing Dr Stekel for over 3 years now and have had many profound sessions with him, both while getting adjusted and while doing EFT (emotional freedom techniques...highly recommended). I had a pain in my neck ever since I started breastfeeding my baby, this is 6 years ago. The pain was aweful.. I had a mri, saw a neurologist, turns out I have arthritis in my neck, it is genetical, so there is not much I could do until I went to Dr. Stekel. His treatment relieved me forever! I no longer have the pain.. he is magical!

I went to Dr Stekel with a pain in my neck that my internist had been unable to help me, with except to prescribe pain medication. Dr Stekel was able to manipulate my muscles in a way that not only gave me immediate relief, but over time, actually healed whatever had been causing the pain. I could not have been happier with his manner, his skill, and his caring attitude.

I saw Dr. Stekel for several crucial months while suffering with debilitating pain and inflexibility resulting from arthritis in one of my hips. Dr. Stekel has been my chiropractor since 1998. he has really made a positive difference in my life. I go to see him when I am in need, and he is always eager and helpful, not to mention extremely knowledgeable and caring. I have had a number of cases of sciatica, and neck pain over the years. .. Dr. Stekel was able to treat me quickly, and safely and get me back to good health each and every time. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone in need.

Dani Stekel has helped me realize that I do not have to live with lower back pain. Before I met Dani, I suffered with sciatic pain for 10 years. I tried Physical Therapy but that alone was not enough. I now realize that in order to live pain free I needed to address the skeletal system as well. For the first three months I saw Dani 3x a week. Yes it can be a schlep to go somewhere 3x a week, but I saw results. I also used to have weekly headaches. I was popping advil like candy to get rid of the headaches and back pain! And now I rarely get headaches.

And now, 3 years later, post baby, I go for maintenance, 1x week. I view going to the chiropractor the same as I view brushing my teeth, exercising and eating right... all things that we have to do to maintain a healthy and balanced body.

Dr. Stekel has been really helpful for my low back pain. It generally stays away for a month or so after I see him, so its worth the trip. Otherwise, I would feel it tighten up until it was on my mind all day.
He made me feel comfortable and showed me what I can do on my own to keep the tension at bay.

I've known Dr. Stekel for about 15 years and he has treated me numerous times for various issues. He is truly a caring, sensitive, compassionate professional who zeroes in on the heart of the matter right away and goes to work fixing it. I'm incredibly grateful for the work he has done with me to heal a knee that was overworked and painful, and to get headaches under control caused by a head injury. Most recently Dr. Stekel helped me recover from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) through EMT (emo-free technique) which is a combination of needle-free acupuncture and talk therapy. It helped tremendously in my recovery process. Dr. Stekel's approach to patient care emcompasses the whole picture - diet, exercise, relaxation techniques. You can talk to him about anything and he will listen and respond accordingly. Just speaking to him on the phone to schedule an appointment eases the pain because I know relief is on the way!

Dr. Stekel is an excellent chiropractor - and a consummate professional. I have known Dani for over 10 years - and he has helped me not only realign my posture but also taught me many things about nutrition, exercise, diet and fitness. Dr. Angrist is concerned about all facets of your life that affect your wellness. He goes above and beyond to bring wellness to his patients. He provides uplifting talks and emails to his patients that discuss emotional and physical wellness. He really does have a great understanding of what helps a person lead a healthier lifestyle.
The staff is also extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. I always feel welcomed when I arrive.

Dr. Angrist has been my Chiropractor for 17 years. His unusual sense of caring has helped me benefit from his chiropractic care for ailments ranging from carpal tunnel to emotional tension.
