This place is great! I had always been a fan of Angelo and Maxies and decided to give their sister restaurant a try. So glad I did! The drinks are strong & delicious and the food is great. We ordered the small house salad & it was big enough for 4 of us to split. Also recommend the Chef salad, the Frickles (fried pickles..mmmm), Fried Shrimp & The Burgers. Everyone from the hostess to the manager (his name was Kenny-didn't hurt that he was very cute) were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back!!

I have never been there in person, that is why it is only very good! When I make it up there from California I will be there and it will be six stars! My daughter and extended family share their fish bowl drinks with me over pictures.
Yes, so that just means I have to make it over there in person, and trust me I will. Kenny thanks for making that group happier! Hope to see you soon.

For some of us who haven't grown up on the burgers and are still trying to find a reason for mincing a perfectly good steak and sticking it between a mushy roll, this place was an awesome surprise. Aside from the burgers, Maxie's B&G delivers good, solid staples like fantastic wings (should have the choice of hotter/milder, but then again, it's not Blondie's), hearty salads, and some pretty good fillet that comes straight from its next door parent, Angelo & Maxie's. I can't say that I'd ever pick the B&G over Angelo's fantastic rib-eye, but I'd definitely take it over most bar/grills in the area. The brunch on Sunday is a plus.

This place looks very nice and the food was absolutely great! I loved the Kobe burger and it was served at the temp i wanted! I got the sweet potato fries which were great! I also ordered the Fried cookie dough which is sinful as it could destroy any diet you were on but is like a party in your mouth!!! If you want a good drink i like the maxie's punnch( has to be respelled for the sake of the submission i know only 1 n) i think it was called...it comes in a half gallon fish bowl...its meant to be shared which was cool! it was reminiscent of my college days at the bars at coconut grove in miami! Will definitely go back again! Definitely a good place to hang out with your boys on saturday or sunday watching football with good food.

Myself & 3 friends stopped at Maxie's Grill for lunch the other day. First let me say, the decor & the service were both amazing. For the first course, we ordered salads, chili & the french onion soup, all of which were delicious. Absolutely no complaints. When we ordered the entrees again, we each ordered something different. We ordered the turkey burger, maxie burger, sirloin steak salad & the filet mignon bites each of us specifying how we would like the meat cooked. Not a single one of the orders was served close to how we asked the meat to be cooked. I requested that the filet mignon bites be cooked medium and it came to the table as rare as rare can be. The mesclun greens which came with the bites were so drowned in the vinagrette that they were unedible. The turkey burger was ungodly dry and unedible. The Maxie Burger was badly burnt on the outside and incredibly rare on the inside. The sirloin steak salad was the only edible entree even though it wasn't cooked as requested either. Overall, we found Maxie's to be a disappointment especially after such an amazing first impression. My recommendation is that Maxies fire the chef. If he doesn't understand culinary basics such as how to prepare the meat, he shouldn't be the chef! I may possibly try Maxie's Grill again but it won't be for awhile...

I brought a group of 20 into Maxie's Bar and Grill on a Friday night. They provided us with a pre-fixe menu that included appetizers for the table, sides and dessert platter for the table. Each person ordered their own entree. The price was $38 per person for all of that. Orginally I didn't know what to think of the price ut after seeing the amount of food we got I was very impressed. No one went hungry. The management at Maxie's was good at helping me organize everything and flexible too. Our service that night was great...2 waiters took care of our party and did a great job. The manager on duty that night helped tremendously as well. Prompt and attentive on all accounts. We were seated at a long table in the main dining area. Some may have complained at the lack of a private room but it worked fine for us. Maxie's also gave us the opportunity for a two hour open bar for our party at an extra charge. My only complaint would be that everyone in our party had to pay for the open bar or no one could have it. Disappointing but not the end of the world...we ordered drinks individually from the bar.

I went over to Maxes B & G on saturday to watch some college basketball with some friends. It was my first time there so i didn't know what to expect but i had a great time (even though i had to watch sports! ha ha ha) Big flat screen TVs, great food, chill people. All in all I had a good time and i am looking forward to trying it for dinner. I would def go back.

Worst meal and service in a long time - compared to sister restaurant Angelo Maxies, the owners should be embarrassed- to top it off with all the bad service and inferior food, they had the audacity to charge a service fee, included in the final bill. Will never go back and may affect decision to visit Angelo Maxies in the future
