Fine

Great club! I did enjoy my night out over there; music was fine, the service and drinks were not bad at all. Really nice atmosphere. We were a bit skeptical regarding the door policy though..the first time we went there the line was huge, it took us almost an hour to get into the club. The second time we were 9people and we booked a Limo night out package for like $160 , for 1h limo tour and admission in the club skipping the line (limotournyc) that was a pretty good deal! Anyway I’ll definitely go back there!

Nightclub

I have dined at South Beach Restaurant during trips to Las Vegas last year. There are many superior dishes from which to select from a number of delicious. The quality and quantity of the food are good. That was nice experience to my Journey.

the only way to go to marquee

We are visiting from CA, and decided last Thursday to follow the concierge's advice and go to Marquee. The line was long, it was cold and we knew that the door is really tough, and we might be rejected. The concierge at our hotel was really good and he gave us the contacts of this guy Erez who works for the club, so we decided to call him up. He met us outside, put us on the guest list, and before you know it we cut straight through the 30 minute line into the VIP area!!! . we had a BLAST and partied till 6am! Erez took us to a different club every night for a week and had the same deal!!! I thanked the concierge and he told me to friend Erez on facebook to be in the know about the best parties coming up and to get the same treatmenr. his name is erez j dimant, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Overrated

I will complain about this place til my fingers can no longer type. This place is overrated. Unnecessary crowding, very ghetto, disgusting, degrading, the bouncers are complete jackasses and should be properly trained on how to communicate with people and learn to carry themselves with a bit more demeanor. There are other clubs in NY that is worth the time and money.

treated like princesses!

Ok so my best friend and I were trying to decide what to do for our birthdays, we are only a week apart, and we decided to do a joint birthday. We wanted to go out and party, since we work 25/8. Our friend told us to check out Marquee cause she had been here a couple times before. So we did our research and from what we saw/heard it looked pretty cool. we decided to purchase one of the birthday packages since we had a pretty descent budget. We got the platinum package and literally came with everything under the sun. I am telling you we got sparklers, chocolates, balloons, EVEN birthday cake, and obviously lods of alcohol. By the end of the night everyone knew our names and when we would walk by it was liek they were parting the red sea for us! It was great they were so accomodating, and as for the place it-self, it is the coolet club i have ever seen! I will definitely be coming back!!

Very Porfessional

I have been associated with night clubs a long time and Marquee has been the most professional by far. Not simply because I am a promoter but as someone who loves to party, I see how people are treated.

Don't just take my word for it, come by Fridays and you will discover you my members keep coming back week after week, it's FREE till midnight on CHOUDRY'S list and FREE vodka mixed drinks at my table till 1am.

Worst Place In NYC. AVOID!!!

I'm 22, live in New York, and go to plenty of clubs.

NEVER COME HERE. Went twice (thought I would give it one more chance), second time was for new years. It is the worst club in New York!!!! And I will list why.

1. Bouncers are F**** A*****.
2. Smallest club without room to even move in.
3. If you like to dance? Too bad no dance floor.
4. Even spoke to the manager, and he actually told me to f*** off. Reason being, I had spent 200 per person with friends for a table, and they gave us a table with about 3 seats. We had 8 people. The biggest rip off I have ever been dealt.
5. Saw a guy standing in line for the bathroom, for no reason WHAT SO EVER, he was grabbed by the neck, put in to a strangle hold. and dragged out of the club. Even if there was a reason, it shouldnt have been like that. This place should be sued.
6. Bathroom was absolutely grotesque, with maybe the meanest bathroom attendant in existance, who just sits there doesnt give you a towel to dry your hands and Actually demands a tip!!! and if you do give him a tip? He asks why you didn't give him more.

Anyways this place needs to be put out of existance. I dont recommend going to this place ever in your life.

Avoid like the plague.

That is all

Had a Blast

I went to Marquee this past Thursday night and had a great time with the girls. We all walked in for free (we used a company called Velvet List for the guest list) which is always a plus! Music and crowd we both good. We plan on going again on Sunday for their MKL Event with DJ Camilo (Camilo's parties are always crazy). We are going to use Velvet List again for the guestlist as it says on the website everyone is free before 12. Its a holiday so why not! Will keep you posted on how the party went!!

Oldie but a real real goodie

We can't say enough about Marquee. Everyone who has experienced the real New York City before has been to Marquee. It's been around for years and still holds the title of the best nightlife club in the city.

WORST CLUB EVER!!!

This is the worst club I've ever seen. I was waiting in the line and the rude bouncer was picking those who can enter, then out of the sudden he kicked me out of the line !!! may be he wanted money or something. But he was extermely rude and dumb.
(he said to a group: I know I work in a club but I am f**cking smart). I doubt it!
I would never go to such places again.

ACT OF RACISM BY MARQUEE

On Saturday a group of us had a VIP reservation at the Marquee. About 15 of us arrived by stretch limo for a full night of fun and entertainment at the Marquee. After being dropped off we stood there for more than an hour and then we were denied entry. Interesting -- our group was black and the majority granted entry were white. Money and contract was made prior to the event and suddenly when we arrived everything changed. Do not support an establishment that acts this way. In 2010, there should not be any club in America that acts this way. Getting our money back is not enough.

Marquee is RACIST!

I'm so sad today. My meetup group was diiscrimated against because they were Black at Club Marquee last night. I'm livid. They wouldn't let them into the club, even though we paid for VIP seating. They gave the money back and I had to refund the money to my members.
Marquee is RACIST!

Trendy Club past its prime

Marquee is no longer the ""it"" club but it doesn't mean it gets cheaper. I really don't like this club much at all.

first of all, it is all the way on 11th Ave on 20s, which means I might have to walk past all the project before I get there. Isn't it kind of scary?

Secondly, each drink here is $18! I mean I don't even pay $18 for a bottle of vodka sometimes.

It is a pretty nice venue after all but I am not throwing money at this place for sure.
