General Info: Dr. MacKenzi Hillard is a graduate ofTheCollege of William and Mary and attended medical school at the University of Virginia, where she stayedforresidency training in Pediatrics. She subsequentlycompleted a three year fellowshipin General Academic Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, during which she obtained aMastersin Health Professions Educationfrom Rochester's Warner School of Education.Dr. Hillardjoined Weill Cornell Medicine in 2014 and currently serves as the associate clerkship director in Pediatrics, co-directs the college's Interprofessional Education curriculum, and designs and facilitates standardized patient encounters in the Clinical Skills Center. She also serves on the medical college admissions committee. Dr. Hillardworks in the pediatric clinic onHelmsely Tower - 5 and as a pediatric hospitalist.Her professional interests include clinical skills remediation, palliative care, and improving provider-patientcommunication, particularlyacross culturesto facilitatethe delivery of equitable health care.
