Great Pizza! Yet Indifferent Service??

While the Pizza was good.

John's staff's ""indifferent"" attititude towards their customers this past week, left me with a ""I'll never come back here""

Slam. What's your order? Slam, Here are your drinks! Slam, (no comment from staff) , I guess, here is your bill. My Slam. Left them a $ 1 tip

Great pizza!

One of my favorite places to go for a good meal. You can't go wrong with really anything on the menu.

Great Pizza!

had a great dinner! I grew up in the city of Chicago, Have worked in the industry (restaurant) for nearly a decade, ....(so I know what I'm talking about). This is the best option in this area.

This pizza is PERFECT. Coming from an Italian family that once owned a pizza restaurant, I can say that, hands-down, this is the best NY style thin pizza from coal fired ovens EVER! Don't miss it! WONDERFUL!

You got to try this...

I love Pizza, I mean love it. My favorite spot in NY was in Brooklyn, but they now have comp. Fresh crisp crust, fresh sauce, great toppings. RIDICULOUS! I am not Italian, nor have a I been to Italy, so I can not compare, but I love this place. I don't like fresh Mozz, like at Lombardi's anyway. Lombardi's is not as good as John's. The sauce does not match up. Lombardi's crust is good, salty at times, but good, but John's is the BOMB! Try it.

John's Pizzeria - Bleecker

How the hell in our NYC days and many LATE nights on Bleecker have we missed this joint? I mean, it's been around forever and is a stone's throw from Peculiar Pub. And like Lombardi's (or vice versa), just whole pies - no slices, no credit cards, no kidding. This place also won Best Pizza on Citysearch 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2004. Come on you slackers, where've ya been the past few years? Don't get fat and lazy on us.

Walking into this place (after a slight wait) is like walking into the rathskeller...

This is the place to eat a casual meal in NY. Service was great and pizza was out of this world, thin, hot and without a doubt the best . You hear alot about other places being rude and poor quality food to us tourists but this is not the case at Johns. The food and service was so good we went back the following day and received the same great service and great pizza. We are now proudly wearing our Johns Pizzaria T-shirts and can't wait till our next vist to our new favorite pizza place.Don't forget to tip for good service and food because you will go back.
