STAY AWAY FROM JANOVIC PLAZA!! THEY HAVE THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE LOCAL STORES WILL PROMISE YOU THE WORLD BUT IT ALL GETS FILTERED TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHERE THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE S**T,
ANN RICHARDSON IN PARTICULAR. THEY DON'T HONOR WARRANTIES AND YOU WILL GET NOWHERE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Janovic is primarily a paint store. That is what made them famous for all of these years in the first place. Yes, the have a window shade ""department""...but, it's bascially just a person who's willing to take your order for you. There's nothing they can do that you can't do yourself. If you're a service-oriented-society type, then you'd probably gravitate to something like this. You should also understand that the window shade industry is like the sunglass industry...everything you buy is marked up 300%. They are making massive profits from you. You'd be better off ordering window shades over the internet (from a bulk supplier) and then have an independent contractor install them for you, if you can't do that kind of thing yourself. It's not rocket science.

Janovic Plaza is a JOKE. I'm now entering month three of a small but very costly project to replace window treatments in my apartment. I spent SEVERAL (15+) thousand dollars (paid 100% upfront) and was informed that the treatments would arrive in approximately 3 weeks from the manufacturer --- fast forward 4 weeks to when I called Janovic to check the status of delivery and was informed by Janovic customer service that my order had never been placed. After raising a little hell, I was told that customer service was wrong and that my order was placed and the treatments should be arriving any day. Fast forward again two weeks (to today) as sit here in my apartment on the Friday before Chistmas. I took off work today in order to be home for the UPS delivery that Janovic assured me would occur today (I'm leaving town for the holidays tomorrow). UPS never showed up... Customer service just informed me AGAIN that my order was never placed... so the story continues.
Janovic is completely disorganized, frequently gives mis-information and frankly doesn't have a clue as to how to run a business. Customer Service is non-existent. Employees are rude and not helpful. Avoid this business with all costs. Caveat Emptor!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever hated the service you have received? This one will top any bad service experience. I have never had the worst customer service experience than from this particular establishment - Janovic Plaza. Not only did they get the order wrong - It took over 3 months to resolve the issue. And I am still not satisfied. The management was rude and indifferent. If you ever have to track an order, BEWARE! Their computer systems are frequently down. And the workers have no CLUE where your order is. BE EXTRA CAREFUL if you need in-house measurements, the individual that did our measurements showed up 2 (two) hours late and was drunk and stoned. We will never shop at Janovic Plaza EVER AGAIN even for self-service items.
