This is the BEST place to get lunch

I work in the neighborhood on Park Ave and Guy and Gallard is the perfect place to get a healthy meal. You can just about order anything you want--custom made at the counter. The staff is very friendly, helpful and LISTENS to you. Not only that, but the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend this location of the store. I don't know about others, but this one is the BEST. What more can I say? I highly recommend their turkey--always fresh and in combination with brie is a dream lunch--delicious! Yummy!!

Great for breakfast and lunch - cheap, healthy, and delicious!

I'm not generally one to extol the virtues of chain restaurants, especially in a city like New York, but there is something special about Guy & Gallard. The servers and cashiers are incredibly friendly, and the food is a much better value than you'll find at Pax. For breakfast I like eggs and chicken sausage (theirs is some of the best I've had) and for lunch, you can't beat their grilled mahi mahi with a side of braised escarole (under $10 for a large portion). They have a great selection of fish, poultry, and meat dishes, all of which are comparable to $20+ entrees elsewhere yet cost under $10.

Best Coffee Value in the City

The small cup - at $1 is a great value and plenty of coffee. Other than that, stop by for the authentic British chocolates that you won't find in too many other places. G&G has recently opened a Cafe next door which has great casual food, quick service, and cheap prices. Definitely worth a quick out-of-the-office lunch break.

Best Coffee in NYC

Forget Citysearch's ""Best of"" ratings for coffee. This place -- bar none -- has the best coffee in New York. Ask for the house blend.
